Q: How is your Dehydration process done?

Wyman's uses a proprietary processing technology has been custom designed with flavor and nutrition as a priority. Unlike some other drying processes where large amounts of heat are added to the fruit which can bake off the nutrient value, we use Radiant Energy Vacuum drying technology. With this technology we pass our Wild Blueberries through a vacuum chamber to lower the evaporation point of the water in the fruit. This allows for dehydration to occur at lower temperatures. The result is a high quality dehydrated product that retains the flavor and nutrients of the fresh product.

Q: Can you just mix in water and drink as juice?

Hi there! There’s nothing wrong with mixing powder with water and drinking it. However, it will not have the same taste profile as Wild Blueberry Juice. Juice is created by taking all of the water soluble elements out of the fruit leaving the fiber behind. Wild Blueberry Powder is dehydrated whole fruit. So hydrating the powder would be more akin to eating a whole Wild Blueberry. Thanks for your interest!
