Laura Geller's makeup sponge is a handy tool for smooth makeup. It blends foundation and concealer well without streaks. The sponge is latex-free, making it great for sensitive skin that might react to other blenders. It has a nice shape that fits face curves and gets into tight spots like under eyes. I have to admit, I was skeptical of any makeup sponge being worth the price I would normally pay for 12 sponges, but…this is nicer. I’m not entirely sure it’s 12 sponges nicer, but it’s definitely nicer. Of course, I don’t have any latex (or other) allergies, so this would probably be more valuable to someone who does have those issues. Still, as is so oftentimes the case, you get what you pay for. It blends beautifully, and feels good against my skin. I would seriously consider ordering it, again, if it holds up. I’ve only been using it for a month or so, but so far, so good.

The Laura Geller New York full-face blending sponge was a disappointment. I use a liquid foundation, and the sponge didn’t work well. It didn’t do a good job of blending the foundation evenly. I also felt that the sponge was too firm. At this price point, I was hoping for better results.
