Solid stable voltage reducer for golf cart
Installed this voltage reducer in an 2022 Icon 48V golf cart to provide 12 volts for a Ecoxgear Sound Extreme SE-26 lighted sound bar. I chose this voltage reducer because it has a power lead that I connected to an On/Off switch so that I can remove power to the voltage reducer and turn off the voltage reducer so that the voltage reducer won’t drain the golf cart batteries when the golf cart is not in use.The voltage reducer does NOT get hot to the touch and it provides a steady 12 volts to power the sound bar with ZERO noise/interference. I used a normal inline automotive fuse block with a 20A blade fuse (MCIGICM 12 AWG Inline Fuse Holder with 30A ATC/ATO Blade Fuse, 5 Pack from Amazon) for the power lead from the voltage reducer to the On/Off switch. The On/Off switch that I installed was a (Gardner Bender GSW-121 Heavy-Duty Electrical Toggle Switch, SPST, ON-OFF, 20 A/125V AC, Spade Terminal) that I bought on Amazon. This voltage reducer has an On/Off wire lead that other voltage reducers don’t have so with other voltage reducers you can’t turn them off and they could continue to draw power from the golf cart batteries.

AMAZING #1 A PLUS
I build custom scooters for a living and there is always the issue of needing a steady 12 volt power source to run just about every accessory. The load can be very big on the 12 volt power source and often burns them up. NOT THIS ONE. This step down is amazing. It handles multiple voltages by itself , the 12 volt supply is consistent and stays that way weather I’m running a couple lights or I’m running 100 lights with a sound system , brake lights, turn signals and honking the horn. The compact size with easy wiring make it a perfect fit in any build. Folks this a no brainer buy it. I buy multiple every month and will continue to.

Works on my golf cart
Running a 48v lithium battery in my cart. Used the golf cart light bar to pour concrete last night. Ran light bar for over an hour, converter worked and stayed cool.

Worked well on a 48volt golf cart
It worked fine, except it seamed to produce a bit of static on my radio

Works great for head lamp and taillamp Razor MX
Great price, reliable power, fitment is easy with a screw or zip ties. Cut the connector because it is useless unless you’ve got an entire connector kit. Overall a good buy. Works for my purpose. Razor MX.

Economical, Well built
Great for adding 12v Aux led automotive lights to my diy ebike for great headlamps. Steps down 72v to 12 without frequency noise or any other issue. Added a kill switch, ground side, pre converter to keep down waste draw when not using the headlamps. small, lighteight, but not excess heat makes this great for small builds. If I were adding turn signals and brake lights I may have opted for more than the 10 amp model, but this model fit my needs just fine. Didn't test water resistance. I didn't build my bike to get wet..all in all, I highly recommend.

Arrived broken, being I did not open and use immediately I'm sure there's no warranty
Never got mine to work or power my headlight. Could not figure out why I was not getting power after the investor. Finally took it apart while I had some free time yesterday, found out the solder used to hold a wire to the board had come free and there was no connection. Crazy thing is, yes I may have bought it awhile ago, but it sat in a box on my shelf for weeks if not months waiting on my bike to get back from the paint shop.

Working well in a 48v golf cart
Got this to convert down from 48v to 12v for an electric golf cart. This allows me to run standard 12v items via a common lighter/socket, or internally, without unbalancing the pack itself. It should work the same on any cart or scooter in it's voltage range. I measured the output while on to be a solid 12.8v. I found no way to adjust the voltage on the device, but I don't need to for my application. This model is slightly better than other models in that it provides a built in toggle line one can hook right to the key line, or a toggle, to enable the converter. This means it will draw little to no power from the pack (and provides no 12 output) when the control line is grounded. This is ideal for high voltage carts, since it prevents the need for a relay or other mechanism.
