As advertised.
I had a bad experience with some gloss topcoat from another vendor and swore off any sort of sealant meant for airbrushing.I airbrush on paper and canvas, and have lately been painting statues and figures that I've 3D printed to use up old filament. I discovered that sealants can have a smoothing effect, but not wanting to try the old gloss topcoat, I ordered this.It was a good decision, because not only does this stuff work fine in an airbrush with proper setup and equipment, Vallejo has a huge following, so I was easily able to research proper setups to use this.I prep my models and gear before even pouring this sealant. Once I pour it, I do my airbrushing, empty the airbrush cup and clean the airbrush. I have my compressor sending 40 PSI to the airbrush during use, and the sealant atomizes well. And as advertised, 3D prints airbrushed with this have a dull, matte finish. With the knowledge and experience I gained from using this, I've since been able to use the gloss topcoat I had trouble with, and use both of these. I'm currently experimenting with using this to smooth over processed 3D prints, and I'm liking what I'm seeing so far!So many times I've heard and read that Vallejo's supplies are a solid staple, and just disregarded the statements. But in my experience with this sealant, Vallejo is indeed an excellent brand and I'll be turning to them for airbrushing supplies moving forward. I'll be honest and say I prefer gloss finishes on my painted models, but should I use all of this matte sealant up and need more, I'll gladly get more!

Flows Easily Through Airbrush. Produces a Nice Matte Finish
I build many models that require a matte or satin finish. I have been looking for a good product since a number of other hobby paint lines have discontinued production in recent years. I found that Vallejo Premium Airbrush Matt Varnish is airbrush ready and does not need to be diluted. It produces a nice thin even matte finish. I have used a number of other Vallejo airbrush ready paints and they are all excellent.

Excellent product
I'm new to airbrushing but this is an excellent product. It went on great and gave a dead flat finish. And it was very forgiving if I had an overspray. Once it dried, you couldn't even see the overspray. Will definitely buy again. Well worth the price.

Works very well for BJD faceups
Writing this review because I know it would've helped me. This sealant works wonderfully for bjd faceups! My watercolor pencils and pastels work very well on top of one layer, but I assume that the more you layer the sealant the more opaque your materials look. I do not have an airbrush system (because I'm only 19 and living on a soldier salary in Israel which is not much) but you can sponge it on and it works great. This is a great alternative to MSC for resin dolls, MSC is impossible to get here so I'm so glad I have this option. I tried Vallejo on a vinyl doll head too btw, and it didn't work with my watercolor pencils. For resin bjds it's great tho.

Great matte varnish
Great varnish. Flows well through my airbrush (Iwata HP-CS). It has produced a very nice, matte finish on the hundred or so minis I've used it on over the past several months - have not had a single issue with it.

Works Great to Protect your Paint Job!
Works amazingly to protect all the time and effort you put into painting your miniatures! I put two or three thin coats on everything I finish, and it doesn’t change the look at all after dries!
