Tastes delicious and plenty of it
I've tried dozens of expedition foods but have always been slightly dissatisfied by taste or consistency.On a recent camping motorcycle expedition to Greece, I used the Expedition Foods pouches and was blown away by the taste and quantity inside. There is probably too much food in the packet for me but it certainly filled me up and left me feeling satisfied. The taste is delicious, I never thought I'd say that about a packet of rehydrated food.Well done guys, very impressed. Lightweight, compact and ready in only 8 mins after pouring in hot water. My only gripe was the packet gets too hot to hold but that's me being lazy by not putting into my mess tin to avoid washing up!

I bought it for my daughters DofE expedition.It was great because was light. She said tasted good but u need to put enough water (otherwise is crunchy )

Disappointing amount of meat and too liquid based on guide
Beef stroganoff if I am honest wasn’t the best. Not much meat as I would expect when trying other meals. Water guide is definitely too much as almost made a Ramen type meal. I would say 450ml max for this meal. Tasty sauce but disappointing amount of meat. Certainly a good amount of calories, and drank all the extra liquid, so it all went in.

These are so good, only downside is lack of a line or mark to indicate the water fill level. I would give 5 star if they had this the product is so good!

Meat will not rehydrate
DANGEROUS ⚠️ (Refer to the last bit of the review)Portion extremely small, not a double serving. Taste questionable, however, after 25miles day hike I would have eaten even tree roots. As with the chilly con carne meal, the portion is extremely small and had to supplement with a noodles soup. I will not purchase again, there is a lot better meal value in a Tesco beans and sausages can.The biggest issue is that the meat did NOT REHYDRATE, was crunchy like croutons, abandoned eating it after 3-4 spoons full. Got a bad stomach and diarrhoea for 3 days from it. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Pleasant surprise
The pouch is easy to prepare, which is a great bonus after a long day of physical exertion. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. I had never had tomato flavor in stroganoff, but it was tasty. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that it's really too much for one person, unless you have a huge appetite.
