WiFi light never shuts off. 8 pint dehumidifier.
The WiFi light never shuts off. If you ever accidentally enable the wifi the light will literally never shut off and if you never pair it to an app it NEVER stops flashing. There is no way to factory reset and even leaving it unplugged won't disable the flashing. I got this after using a different hOmelabs dehumidifier and I am severely disappointed.

The drainage tube pops off the port on own and with only 8 pint container its too inconvenient to have to empty it

It is too small to be effective. It is so small that the tank will fill up but the the humidity level doesn't change.

Dislike the 8 pint option
I bought the 8 pint option. I ran it in my bedroom for 5 hours with no change in my humidity levels at all. It got out very little water in the tank. If I was not familiar with my other dehumidifier, I might not know better. I have another that very quickly drops the humidity in my room as soon as it starts running. I should have just bought another one like I already have but liked the look of this better. Also, when I went to move it to pack it up, it leaked water everywhere. I kept it relatively level when moving. I’m glad I was already returning it since I would not like that either. Maybe the bigger units are better.

Unsatisfied
Unsatisfied with the purchase. As other buyers have noted, the humidity does not drop below 53%, even though i set to 40% and connected the hose to the drain so the device works 24/7. Our house is only 1500 square feet. Would recommend to look for other brands and don’t waste your money on this one

Stopped working after 3 months, company never responded
It worked for three months, then stopped working. I emailed the company and never heard back. I cleaned the external filter regularly, but it started emitting a terrible musty sweet smell after about a month or so. There is no way to open it up to clean or see what might be happening internally to cause the smell. The humidity level on the machine never corresponded to my home thermostat nor humidity sensors I purchased separately. I won't purchase again from this company.

Never Worked
It operates based on the humidity level and it needs to read that the humidity level is at 35% or more to work. It would always read that the humidity was at 25% and never turn on.
