This tire dressing is fantastic and delivers a beautiful satin sheen. It is a clear improvement over their first version. The consistency is slightly thinner, which makes it much easier to apply. I also appreciate the upgraded sprayer. The old ones were frustrating but this new design works much better. That said, I still wish they would package it in the industry standard 16 fl oz size instead of 12.Overall, this dressing really impressed me. I have been using CarPro Darkside on my truck and love the finish after a day or so, but I do not like the glossy look it has at first. This product looks great right away and darkens nicely after a day, giving the tires a bold and clean appearance.I am not sure if it is solvent based, but it definitely seems just as durable as those that are. Big fan of CERAKOTE. Another excellent product I highly recommend.

Cerakote rapid tire coat looks great, allows you to apply a thinner coat for a more natural new-car satin look, or add thicker or additional coats for a glossier look. Some of the goopier products are over-the-top gloss or nothing, but i prefer, and suspect most will, the more natural dark satin shine!Durability is good, but all tires will require detailing maintenance, as the rubber will continue to off-gas behind any tire coat product.Is it the most economical? No. Is it a good product? Yes. It's worth the small difference in cost to achieve the results you want with your much larger car or truck investment.

I don’t think there’s any other company that I’ve purchased multiple products from on Amazon. CeraKote is though and they never let me down. Price is always fair and product always performs this tire gel spays in an efficient mist and the applicator flexed perfectly so that I really only rolled it around the tire wall twice for total coverage. Two weeks and much rain later and it still looks like the day it was first applied.Well done again CeraKote!

First, thanks again for another excellent product, no greasy and i like to mention, on the first photo i apply a very small amount sprayer on the applicator and give a SATIN shine wish i like it, but i did a second application same small amount 10 min. after the first one, and have a more shiny look, you have the option, an no need to apply to much, The Cerakote products is a secure quality, i used all the products manufactured by them, highly recommended, please give it a try and confirm my review !!!

Love the applicator. Could do without the spray bottle, but I'm no chemical expert. If we're putting onto a sponge, i would rather it be a little thicker and have a squeeze bottle. Spraying into a sponge seems redundant.Cleaned the tires well with a plastic bristle scrub brush with car wash and dish soap mixture to get a good clean surface. Allowed to fully dry. Shine went on pretty wet and I smoothed out with the sponge until had a nice smooth texture and no drips. Allowed to dry overnight before driving the vehicle.I did notice a little running towards edge of tire from areas where it might have been applied thicker or in contours of tire sidewalls. I will do a wipe and second application and see how things go. Overall shine is nice.

Just tried the Cerakote Rapid Ceramic Tire Coat on my vehicle and I’m honestly really happy with how it turned out. The tires have that clean, deep black look—like they did when the car was brand new—and there’s no greasy feel or mess. It was super easy to apply too: just washed the tires, used the foam applicator, and wiped off the extra. What I really like is that it dries completely, so there’s no sling that gets on the paint, and it actually lasts. After a few drives, including some rain, the tires still look great. Definitely worth it if you want your car looking sharp without a bunch of upkeep.

This Tire Coat is the 4th Cerakote product I have purchase over the past year and it is easy and works GREAT! As you can see from the "before" and "after" it made a difference. I even had a bit lift on the applicator which I used on the interior of my 2007 Pontiac Solstice and it shined!

It doesn't look like the product did anything at all. For a tire dressing, it gives the appearance of a merely clean tire...not like it has been dressed with tire dressing. Little sheen, if any. For $18, the expectation was for it to be a superior product, which it isn't. Even after applying a second coat, it still only looked like a clean tire. Take a look at the photos, and determine for yourself if I am exaggerating.
