Some products you like. Some you love. I flat-out LOVE this thing. This is a product design that is at once beautiful, seamlessly functional, and a pleasure to use. It is elegant from every perspective. The usability design is as simple as can be. You fill the vessel with cold water, place it on the stand, and it turns itself on to heat up to the last-used temperature, which it displays clearly on the base. If you want a different temperature (think tea vs. coffee brewing temps), you very simply turn the large, uncomplicated knob and the display shows your desired new temp that it will heat towards. It has more features and options you can set and adjust if you wish to. But for basic every day usage, that's it. The heating time is pretty fast. Once it gets to the desired temperature, it plays a brief, quiet ditty to let you know it's ready. And then it will hold itself at that temperature for a period of time you select (up to some limit, I suppose. We leave it at 15 minutes, which seems plenty for our needs). Once it's at temp, you can pour or you can forget it - it doesn't much matter, because it will turn itself off after the set time. Oh and - this was a surprise - it sounds strange to say, but the way this kettle pours water is really great. It is somehow unusually smooth and easy. I guess it must have to do with the design of the shape of the vessel, the handle, and the spout. Whatever magic is happening there, I never knew that other kettles were wanting in this regard until I tried this one. Amazing. When I was thinking about buying this, I had a concern or two about the capacity - it's something like 0.7 liters, considerably less than many kettles. I'm so glad that we went for it anyway. It turns out that it heats water quickly enough that it's relatively small capacity has never felt like an issue. Plus, it's such a pleasure to use in general, that I don't mind having to refill on the odd occasion when we need more than one pot's worth of hot water. There are only two things that I could quibble about - and these are a stretch: First, it's expensive, obviously. But for me, the overall experience with this product in our house is more than worth that extra cost. It's that good. Second, the ditty that it plays when it gets up to temperature is pretty darn quiet even at its maximum volume setting. I can't say that bothers me, really, but it might be nice if it had a higher volume setting available. (?) Last thing. Here's a question for you: When was the last time someone walked into your kitchen, saw your water kettle, and exclaimed, "That's beautiful!" .. ? .. You might need to get used to it. This is about as perfect a product for its intended function as I have ever encountered.

I purchased this kettle for heating water for tea as I find the microwave to be more time consuming for brewing tea. There are a few things I like about this kettle: - Aesthetics: the overall design and the matte black finish is very sleek on the counter top. I do not like the visual look of bulky, plastic electric tea kettles. The traditional white plastic is garish and really jumps out on the counter top. The Corvo EKG Electric Kettle matches our counter tops (and even the toaster oven that it is adjacent to) quite nicely. As you can see from the photo, it actually blends in and has a very small footprint occupying very little real estate on the counter top. For size, you can see a meal kit 8.5" x 11" recipe card next to the kettle. - Speed: the kettle heats up insanely quickly - less than 2 minutes from room temp to boiling for my tea! - Variable temperature control: I primarily drink mint tea and the small booklet told me the exact temperature that I should heat water for this kind of tea. Who knows what temperature I was getting from my previous microwave approach! I suppose if I were to branch out to other kinds of tea, I now know the right temperature for those types. Also, it looks like they have a recommended temperature for brewing coffee. So, if you're a pour over kinda guy or gal, this electric kettle would work really nicely for brewing coffee and you wouldn't need two different electric kettles or pieces of brewing equipment. - The timer is built in so you don't have to set a separate timer on your microwave or Google Home (does anyone else's Google Home not pay attention to them when they call out a timer?!). Finally, I've also recently found a secondary use for our Corvo EKG electric kettle. I've replaced this with our (white plastic, garish) milk bottle warmer that we use for breast milk for our baby. It wasn't the primary reason for purchasing this, but when I unpacked it, I realized I only needed one of them on my counter. Now I can heat up water at the exact temperature that is recommended for heating breast milk so as not to reduce any of the nutritional elements of the milk (if you heat milk up too hot, it's not good for the composition of the nutrients). And, with the "HOLD" feature (basically, you switch a little button on the back of the base to "hold" at your preferred temp for 60 minutes), I can hold the heated water at the right temperature so if the baby wants more milk, I already have the hot water ready to go. Heated water from the electric kettle heats breast milk WAY faster than the traditional single-function bottle warmer. The Corvo EKG electric kettle is a no brainer if you brew coffee and/or tea, and if you happen to be heating baby bottles as well, you can use this in place of another kitchen gadget. Win win!

DO NOT BUY FELLOW PRODUCTS! This led sreen stopped working on this tea kettle after 2 years and they would not replace it. We also bought the coffee maker $500 which stopped working after 1 year. Still trying to get a refund. I have contacted them 4 times to their support email with no response not even an auto reply. I had to open a product support ticket for both items with a chat bot through their website and it took 6 times before it finally created a support ticket. After entering all the information the bot just kept failing and starting over. Waited 2 weeks for support staff to get back to me and they haven’t read the thread because they keep asking me unrelated questions and not realizing that I have told them several times that it won’t descale and reports the carafe being missing or water being empty even though both things are properly in place. Do NOT BUY, poor quality products, and even worse customer support. Get a technivorm.

The Fellow Corvo EKG is easily one of the most refined kettles I’ve used. Best kettle ever. I love how detailed in temperature it gets. The dial is ingenious. It is quiet and hold the temperature until you turn it off. The handle is so nicely designed. It poors well too. Oh, and it is ultra fast. I have only had it a few months so I cannot speak to quality over time.

This is a beautifully designed kettle. Has different settings for different types of teas and keeps the water warm for your second cup of tea. Only thing that is disappointing is that it doesn’t hold a lot of volume.
