RXBAR Protein Bar, Variety Pack, 5 Flavors (6 Boxes, 24 Bars)

This review is for RXBAR Variety Pack (Blueberry, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Sea Salt, Mixed Berry, and Peanut Butter Chocolate). RXBAR is my favorite protein bar. The ingredients list is straight forward without added chemicals or questionable ingredients. The bars are decent in size. The texture is medium-firm chewy. They are a bit moist, which I appreciate that they aren't super dry. They are very sticky to teeth though, so you are going to need some water afterwords to get it unstuck from your teeth. My favorite flavors in the group are mixed berry, blueberry, and chocolate sea salt. The peanut butter and peanut butter chocolate have more of a peanut butter protein powder version of a flavor. It's not a bad flavor. It just is what it is. The flavor in all the RXBARs I have ever had are a bit on the mild side of flavor, and I haven't run across any flavors that I did not like.

LET ME ADDRESS THE CONCERNS I READ:I’m doing the 10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse, and this is an approved snack. At first, I read a lot of reviews, most of which were five stars. So, I ordered. A few hours later I tapped on the low ratings and...EEK! Horror stories! I immediately tried to cancel but it said they couldn’t. Strange. Anyway, they arrived today. NO VARIETY: Only two boxes were the same, variety otherwise. PASS EXPIRATION DATE: Five of the six boxes don’t expire until 2022. One box didn’t have an expiration date.🤔 TASTES HORRIBLE/STICKS TO TEETH: I tried the peanut butter chocolate. It doesn’t taste anything like a Reece’s bar. NOT AT ALL. It does, indeed stick to your teeth and takes quite sometime to chew. You’ll tire of chewing before you get full. MELTING/WORMS The chocolate melts, so refrigerate them ASAP. Actually, I think they all need to be refrigerated because all of the ingredients are natural, and there aren’t any preservatives. If you are use to eating basic healthy foods, you will like these bars (I think). If you are just getting into a change of eating style (processed, white, sugar, etc), I don’t think you will initially enjoy these. They don’t list all of the ingredients on the front of the bar box. There are just a couple, but that’s misleading. I really enjoyed the one I had. After I try one of each flavor, I’ll update this review. (I just opened the one with no expiration date and checked a bar. It’s looks good but was melting. So again, refrigerate).

I love these bars. All flavors, and I recommend them highly.That said, what was supposed to be a variety package shipped with all peanut butter flavor. Not the sexy sea salt and chocolate, not the pick-me-up blueberry, not the toe-curling maple and sea salt, not the fight-with-my-wife berry, not the peanut butter AND chocolate, just peanut butter. I love the peanut butter - but I love the others, too, and I was hoping for some variety as promised.Hopefully, when my subscription arrives in two weeks, it will have a little bit of everything.

Box looks bigger in the pictures than what arrived, the count is correct and has a nice variety but still doubled up on the favorite flavors. These bars see smaller than the kind I bought at Costco? Maybe I am mistaken.QUALITY PRODUCT and ingredients are compliant with most strict diets, love the date usage for thickness.These bars expire in a couple months, not sure if that is normal because of the purity of the ingredients? Not as bad of a turn around as some of the other reviews. To be completely honest I think CostCo has a better deal on these if you do not need the variety or the delivery to your door. Bought these because of the current flu scare and wanted to double up on meal replacement options.

Most bars and powders available like these have content lists that just go on and on with stuff no one ever heard of. And they add sugars and chemicals that no one ever wanted to eat.These bars are just real easy to understand, just a few things in them, and I like that. So does my Doc, who found them independently and eats them regularly.Good for these guys - simply a good product. Oh - and I really like the tast and consistency; even the way they stick to my teeth. But that's just me.

I eat one of these mid workout every morning (they have protein and just enough carbohydrates to keep me from passing out). I don’t love to eat at 4:45am before exercising but I feel lethargic halfway through a workout if I don’t put something in my body. These have clean ingredients and keep me from passing out or feeling light headed.I also like to eat one before running 13.1 or 26.2 miles. They give me needed energy, but don’t cause me to run straight to the port-o-potties like many other bars have. I’ll subscribe and save to these as long as it’s available.

I've been looking for a clean protein bar and I found these. I absolutely love them and all the flavors. Very chewy but I've been told they are super yummy if you put them in the microwave for a few seconds if the texture isn't what you like. Clean ingredients and I eat these every morning, at work, after my morning workout :)

We love these bars for a quick snack, have exact ingredients on package, high protein and filling. This is a much cheaper route than in store even when on sale. With it being higher protein they are more chewy, but that's pretty common for this much protein. Encourages to eat slower anyways. This time the pack we got the best by dates are very close together making it hard to get through them all by that time. One box was passed the date, 2 for the next day, and all boxes within a couple weeks before the best by date. Not favorable to eat that many within 2 weeks. But this is the first box we have gotten with the date coming up so fast and have tried after the best by dates with no issues so I would still recommend.(Picture taken with Google home to show date)
