Zatarain's Red Beans & Rice, 8 oz

I bought this because i was trying to clean out some old gift cards with small amounts left on them and since I had one card with the right amount on it i decided to get a box . Anyway this Red Beans and Rice is Super easy to cook and Great Tasteing stuff no matter what type of meat you put in it. I normally use hamburger meat in it because thats normally all I have in my freezer and I like to add extra seasoning( garlic, onions, pepper, ) to it to give it a bit more flavor, but even without the extra seasoning its still pretty good. Definitely recommend!

SEASONED WONDERFULLY .FRESH AND FAST ARRIVED

I bought 4 boxes. I made one and tried it, but it tasted so salty I could hardly eat it. I through out the rest. I made a second box the next day just in case it was the first box had a problem. Same result, but I decided to put the remaining in the refrigerator and would figure out something to do with. The next day I decided to heat some and taste. The taste was really different. I can only assume that sitting overnight allowed the spices to come out and combine. It was still a little salty for mt taste, but much better.

I like it, add some sausages to it. But I think it should be 2 cups of water instead of 3, or else it’s like a soup.

The product itself is great; it's the beating it gets before delivery that's at issue. It looks like someone ran over it, wrapped it in shrink wrap and then played hot potato with a dozen people. The box can't stand on any side anymore.
