Nature’s Miracle Urine Destroyer 1 Gallon, Light Fresh Scent, Tough on Strong Cat Urine And The Yellow Sticky Residue

TLDR: I don’t understand the bad reviews. It works and smells really nice. Stops cats spraying immediately after the first clean up, and leaves a great fresh scent like good laundry detergent or fabric softener that completely removes all urine smell and makes the house smell nice too. Saved me from having to rehome my cat who was a repeat offender with spraying outside his litter box. I have tried so many different things. This is the only thing that works! My cat now pees in the box where he is supposed to. We are on week 6 of success. I am very happy and grateful.Original review (long)My 4 year old male Siamese cat developed some behavior issues after my daughter was born and began a sustained campaign of peeing inappropriately to let us know he was not happy with being displaced as the baby in the family. We took him to the vet 5 times to verify it wasn’t crystals or a UTI. I was only a few desperate days away from rehoming him because I just couldn’t take it anymore. I was cleaning cat pee up constantly and getting very frustrated. We were at the point of literally throwing furniture away.In desperation I reviewed some Jackson Galaxy videos on YouTube about problems with inappropriate peeing and started implementing the suggestions, and I also needed a solution to remove the urine smell from carpet, a chair, and a rug we were not able to replace. This product completely eliminated all urine smell, even pee we found underneath the rug pad (so awful) that had been there for a while unbeknownst to us. I don’t know how this stuff works but it’s completely effective!I bought this product not expecting much, but I realized it was working immediately. I followed the directions exactly and had to re-treat the worst area on the carpet a few times to get all the urine smell out of the rug pad underneath, but it’s GONE. The cat doesn’t even stop to sniff the area anymore!The scent the products leave behind is pleasant, like a nice laundry soap or fabric softener. It is a wonderful improvement over the stale cat pee smell we used to have. It makes the house smell nice!Using this product in addition to the information in Jackson Galaxy videos saved my cat from being given away. He’s currently purring on my lap.... Thank you.

I am another garbage human who is bad at cleaning, with a jackass male cat that I love who is constantly peeing on my living room rug. The rug was ivory/white with a grey pattern, but now most of one side is all yellow-y, blegh. And it stinks, of course. A few weeks ago I saw a can of the foam version of this at Target and I brought it home and tried it out and it actually worked really well! I used that up on the first go though, so I bought this giant bottle of the liquid version, poured some into an empty spray bottle, and went to town. Way more economical than the foam and works just as well. This urine has been sitting and building up in this carpet for a LONG time - if I catch him in the act, I put down a towel and blot up what I can, but most of the time he waits til I’m not around. Not even five mintues after I started spraying this, the yellowing was starting to disappear, and the urine smell was almost gone. The mess I’m dealing with is huge so I’m going to have to do several applications, but this stuff is seriously amazing.Also, I read a bunch of other reviews that note a strong chemical odor or heavy perfume - I don’t know if they changed the formula at some point and then changed it back, or if there’s just a bad batch every once in a while, but I’m really sensitive to chemical perfumes and I thought this was very pleasant. Left a light fresh scent after drying.

Update 1/25/2022I order the second gallon bottle. Man I have no idea how long this battle is going to be. Now my cat clearly avoid some area but constantly trying to explore new territory to pee. I think I am getting there. Maybe before I order the third bottle......LOLI adopted my cat less than 3 months ago. The problem is that she has her favorite location to do her business. I've noticed that and place enough litter boxes accordingly. However, my husband though the location of her litter boxes is not "graceful" and try to move her boxes to somewhere "invisible" to human. That doesn't work out as my husband planned because my cat went back to her favorite location and did her business with or WITHOUT the litter box (carpet). So I have to clean it. I've tried mixing Oxiclean with baking soda, other brand of enzyme cleaner, and the foam version of this urine destroyer from local pet store. Personally I prefer the liquid spray version better than the foam version. #1 the foam is never enough for me to clean all stained area. #2 the foam version has stronger smell than this liquid version. The smell from the foam stayed in the house for over a week with window opened and fan turned on. #3 the foam version is expensive. I pour some of this liquid urine destroyer into a spray bottle and spray it generously on the stained area. After sometime I blot it and vacuum the area with Dyson. Dyson will suck some of the foamy liquid out of carpet. Finally let it air dry. I am able to clean my carpet to no green light reflection under black light. Besides, the liquid version has clean linen smell which is mild. I like that. It smells like fresh laundry. I've told my husband not to move litter boxes unless the cat can access to somewhere "graceful" to do whatever she does. LOLThis is a great product for my needs. I'll keep it handy. Definitely recommend.
