Great! However . . .
My 8 month old border collie loved this. Very easy for her to hold on to and chew. BUT . . . she got it for Christmas and by the end of January she had chewed it it SO much she ended up bloodying her gums. At that point it had to go bye bye. (To be fair she has done this with other Nylabones.) I would still recommend their products, but they don't last forever. All dog toys, regardless of type or material, have a life cycle. But I am happy to keep these as part of her toy collection to foster interest and a variety of choices.

A little harder to accidentally step on
Our giant, chewing, anxious dog has put a hurting on this, but it is holding up well. The three-dimensional shape makes it a little easier to flip it with your foot, push it out of the way, keeps it from getting totally stuck in disgusting hair bunnies under furniture, and prevents you from stepping on it in bare feet quite as easily as a flat Nyla bone. We had the flat version of this before. The dog kind of likes the new shape as well, he holds it between his paws like a cat and seems to appreciate its twistiness.

Hard to find
This is my dog's favorite bone. He's small and it is about hard for him to start, but I scuff it up with a knife for him. Once started he loves it. Compared to Benebone wishbones, the ends are better shaped (more pronounced) and easier for him to grab. They took it off the shelves at the pet stores recently, so it may be discontinued or about to be. The replacement is the 'gourmet' Nylabone wishbones, but the new line doesn't have the bison flavor and I can't recall, but it may not be as curvy / ergonomic. I really, really hope this doesn't get discontinued. Available in multiple sizes. Small is the best for him, but he was okay with the medium when in a pinch.

Gentle chewers and puppies only!
These bones are wonderful for small puppies! Older dogs will need something harder, but these have helped me to raise all of my pups. They're a lifesaver to get through the teething stage, giving your puppy something it will enjoy chewing on besides your shoes!

Good for Chewers
This is my dog's favorite toy! He's an anxious chewer and goes through rubber/furry/thin plastic toys instantly. He chips actual bones into sharp pieces and has to be monitored with most toys. He goes through one of these every year and loves the shape and size (he's 60lb). It does have a slight beef scent that I think he enjoys.

Strongest chew toy yet! Now updated review
Great biting toy. My little guy is small but he is systematic, methodical and highly competent in destroying, de-stuffing-fying and eating most chew toys or there. I've tried all major brands and this one together with his antler have stood the test of time. It doesn't splinter and bits don't break off. It 'frays' and in theory even if he swallows it it should be passed out from the back end. We've had it a month and it's the longest surviving chew toy we have.Update: We were delighted with it but recently, we noticed some blood on the rough edges of the toy. We checked his mouth and noticed some scratches on his gums from the rough surface. Running my fingers over the chewed surface, it does feel hard and sharp and perhaps the cause of the bleeding. There is no hx of dental issues. Unfortunately, we've chucked the toy and I've reduced the rating from 5 to 2 stars.

Nylabone Dura Chew Extreme Tough Dog Chew Toy Bone
I recently purchased the Nylabone Dura Chew Extreme Tough Dog Chew Toy Bone in Chicken Flavour and my dog loves it. The toy is made of durable and long-lasting materials, and the chicken flavour is a big hit with my pup. He has been using it for a few weeks now and it has held up well, with no visible signs of wear and tear. The wishbone design is also a nice touch and provides multiple chewing surfaces for my dog to enjoy. The toy also helps to keep his teeth and gums healthy by removing plaque and tartar build-up. The non-toxic and edible ingredients are also an added bonus, providing a safe and enjoyable chewing experience for my dog.Overall, I would highly recommend the Nylabone Dura Chew Extreme Tough Dog Chew Toy Bone in Chicken Flavour Wishbone to any dog owner looking for a durable and long-lasting chew toy. The toy provides hours of entertainment and is safe and healthy for your pet. I am confident that it will provide many months of chewing satisfaction for my dog.

Please supervise
Our corgi girl broke her larger premolar on her left side (carnassial). We have a variety of nylabones for the different textures, including the hard white ones (suitable for all dogs according to description). She is a very well-behaved dog who only chews her toys, and when on walks, we always keep her by our sides within sight. Therefore, we were very surprised when a regular vet visit found out that she has a broken carnassial. She did not show any sign of pain, thus not ringing any alarm bells during supervision, and the broken tooth was only found because we asked specifically for a complete body check including teeth. Given that her hardest toy by far is a nylabone and she does not bite anything else, we are inclined to deduce the connection. While most dogs seem not to suffer from this problem with nylabones, there are precedents in forums.Hopefully one day nylabones will be completely safe toys. It was heartbreaking to remove an adult tooth from our corgi who just turned one not too long ago.

Perfect for dogs who enjoy chewing!
Our dog enjoys chewing toys rather than these things - but he finds this easier to hold as he chews. It’s very tough, and he loses interest quickly - but that is more likely to be due to him lacking persistence. If he doesn’t see inroads to his chewing, he finds something else to destroy. If your dog enjoys chewing and likes a tougher toy- this is it. My dog finds these too much of an endurance test!
