It's decent...
It's a GOOD pad, but it's not GREAT. The invader v3 PAD was great, and I got this one too. This one really doesn't give you that great punchy feeling like a snare or the v3 pad (which simulated a snare) had. This felt kinda dead to me, and rimshots will destroy the side of this pad. It gets a sort of nice feel if you place it on top of a textbook or some thick solid surface, and it'll fit it in your backpack... I was better off with the invader. If you're concerned about space, this is the pad for you, but if not, then go for the v3.

Good but not great.
Great for the price, and extremely portable, as advertised. The shallow rim forces you to readjust your rimshot angle, and the bottom's hollow design makes it feel cheap, but other than that, great stuff.

great alternate
this is a really great pad. it is very portable and small. it is made out of the same rubber as the invader v3 (GREAT PAD). almost as great though the only problem i found with this pad is that around the rubber is painted wood. also it has no rim. but this pad is still really great.
