Aid against cold sores?
I am taking them to aid against cold sores on my lips and so far it's working (it's been a year). They are difficult to swallow but put them the right way round it's possible.

Hard pill to swallow....but great for coldsore sufferers
Firstly, it says 2000mg on the bottle but ensure you read the back because it's actually 1000mg per tablet. Therefore, you need to take two at a time. Secondly, omg the pills are bigger than my head!! They are massive! I have gagged and nearly puked my insides out taking them. I have to break them in two cuz they won't go down my bloody gob!! Honestly, I don't remember them being like this. Very off putting. There's no weird after taste. Ergh. As for it's effectiveness.... For someone who has had coldsores since I was 10, yes you read that right, I can say these tablets have been really good. It does not stop coldsores, it does however reduce the severity and speeds up the healing process. I found my coldsores to be really small, not painful at all and heals super fast. I am happy because I used to get them pretty bad!! So these tablets helped me a lot. If you really suffer from coldsores, try these. You might not be able to swallow them in one go, but taking them will help in the long run!

I can’t say whether it’s a coincidence but I haven’t had any cold sores since I started taking this. It also helps with my inflamed lips. Best value for money in terms of price per unit.

Awful to swallow, just huge. I've thrown them out!
They may be high strength, but omg they're the worst pill to swallow ever. If you split them they stick in your throat, I've gagged so many times on these. I'm going back to 2x1000mg!

Bought for coldsore prevention but I had found it really helps strengthen my overall health,espe when people around me are ill,and no side effects noticed :)

Effective and do seem to reduce frequency of cold sores - although not completely. Tablets are very large and can be hard to swallow. 2000mg strength is good and the pack size is value for money.
