Elegant and Effective Protectors
These caster cups do exactly what they're supposed to do, and they look great doing it. The Sapeliwood has a rich, warm color that blends well with our hardwood floors and looks perfect under my Kawai piano. The build quality is excellent - they feel very solid and durable, not cheap or flimsy. The non-slip foam on the bottom keeps them securely in place and protects the floor from any scratches. They also successfully eliminated the faint rolling noise we used to hear. A simple, well-made, and attractive solution for protecting your floors. Highly recommend.

Perfect wheel casters for my upright piano
Why do so many pianos have tiny metal wheels that seem to be designed to destroy hardwood floors? These caster cups are wide enough to accommodate those small piano wheels, but low-profile enough to make the pedal height change almost unnoticeable. The foam mat on the bottom of the caster cups is good to protect the floors and for absorbing sound, but is not designed to allow for sliding the piano to a new location. If you want to move the piano a few inches or feet, have two or more people lift the piano just enough that you can slide the caster cups as you move the piano to its new position.

These are nice and heavy and made out of hardwood. We used them on a baby grand piano.
