What a time-saver and Back saver! Get one.
We were going to buy the Fiskar branded Weed Popper but this one looked like a copycat design. China is good at copying other manufacturers. So it arrived, simple assembly, simple to use. Here in Oregon, we get lots of rains so right now, the ground is soft. The strip of barkdusted area in front of my Neighbor's House was covered with Weeds. He is 84 years old and can't do much yard maintenance. The strip of barkdusted area is about 4 feet wide and 70 feet long. I weeded the whole thing in around 40 minutes. My Back was broken 5 years ago and I cannot bent over, even to put on my Shoes. So this Tool is amazing. I suppose the plastic fulcrum could break if the soil was rock hard and you forced it hard? The Weed comes out with a fair amount of dirt too but it wasn't really and issue for me. I am going to order 2 more of these for my two Brothers. Great tool, great deal!

First impressions UPDATE- looks solid, will pull a dandelion, pulls up a fair amount of soil
Just arrived and I've assembled it. Inside the retail quality box are the unassembled weed pulling unit and a double-sided instruction pamphlet for assembly and use. There is no warranty information on either the box or the assembly instruction pamphlet, but there is a contact section on the pamphlet listing and email address, the company web address, and a contact phone number.I wasn't familiar with this brand, so I wasn't sure whether this would just be some generic Chinese product, but it seems to be a real product with real packaging and easily readable instructions.Assembly involves removing it from the box and inserting the handle, which can be set to three different depths into the top of the unit. Then you slide the green ejection grasp handle down until it makes contact and locks into the rod which pushes the weed you are pulling off of the prongs. The handle shaft and the prongs are metal. The handle fits together tightly and you have to push both sides of the release buttons in order to slide the handle up or down to adjust for your preferred height. The prongs are somewhere between an eighth and a quarter inch thick metal and they look pretty robust. The housing for the prongs as well as the handle you step on and use to pry the weed out of the ground are plastic so time will tell if they hold up.This price seemed pretty good for what you get. It doesn't seem like just a generic random letter Chinese product, but it's also not quite as famous a name as Fiskars.I really appreciated that I was able to get this product on very short notice, one of those overnight deliveries.I will update this review as I use the product.******************************************************************************************************UPDATE******************************************************************************************************I spent an hour or so using this weed puller, and it DOES pull weeds with long tap roots that require such a puller. When you lever up the grabbed weed a cup and a half of soil comes up with the weed, which I decided to bend down and replace to prevent a big divot. The soil was moist as it had rained the previous day, so that may have caused the soil to adhere and generate such a big plug of removed soil. In dry conditions perhaps the amount of soil removed would be less. Some reviews have said that the plastic base that holds the 4 jaws had failed, and I didn't get a feeling that was a big problem, but I wonder if some people using this puller might keep their foot on the lever while tilting the puller over to extract the weeds, which would place unnecessary stress on the plastic parts. I use my foot to push the tines into the ground, but don't keep my foot on the lever during the pull.

Great tool!
Works absolutely great! But it could be built stronger. I'm on my 2nd one in a week due to the top handle breaking off very easily and the foot wedge at the bottom broke off immediately afterwards. You have to be gentle with it. Otherwise it's awesome. I will probably try to figure out a way to reinforce those two weak points.

Works like a charm!
Well, I finally got around to doing some "Weeding" and it couldn't have gone smoother. This weed puller is amazing. It works exactly as described, and I couldn't be happier. Takes the whole weed out when used as described. Sturdy, easy to use and clean-up is a breeze. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed.

NEEDS A SLIGHT MODIFICATION OR REDESIGN
This item broke after only a couple of uses. It needs a slight redesign. The metal jaws are held in by metal pins which double as fulcrums for their lever-action. The jaw towards the back is fixed into the handle and that pin passes through it and the footpiece/lever. This is the point that sees the greatest stress when you are prying a weed out of the ground. That pin is too short and only passes through two plastic lugs, which stick out from the vertical main body/sidewalls of the footpiece/lever. One of those plastic lugs shattered. If that pin were lengthened to pass through the full width of the footpiece/lever, instead of just the lugs, this tool would be less prone to breaking and would be a much more long-lived tool. When I get the replacement, I am going to drill that pin's hole out to the same diameter as the pin and replace the pin with a longer one or with a shoulder bolt of the same diameter through the entire footpiece/lever and secure it loosely with a nyloc nut. The picture shows the broken lug and I've set the pin on top to show it could be longer to transfer the force into the sidewalls of the footpiece, instead of putting all the stress on the lugs. With a slight redesign this will be a 5-star tool. Works great while it works.

It works well and it’s a back saver.
Easy to put together and works great. The tool is easy to use and the weed ejection feature works well as I use a plastic 5 gallon bucket to collect the weeds. Well worth the money and the tool is lightweight and solid and should last a long time if cared for and cleaned after use. Give your back a brake and give it a go.

Well Built And Sturdy
Product works well for some weeds except those with underground spreading roots. In these cases, it loosened the ground around the root enough to pull out manually. One problem, though, regarding assembly the release pushrod was installed backwards relative to the handle. It was not noted until after the rest was put together. It was very difficult to disassemble to correct the pusher. due to the plastic stops at the ends. The springs inside the length selector are too strong to depress for the length selector. Tools were needed to change the stops. Otherwise, it is strong, generally very well built and sturdy.
