I wouldn't recommend this book at all. It's not positive advice

If, like me, you have found yourself driving home one evening thinking about your plans for the next couple of days and ended up in floods of tears because you can't handle what's coming up, then this book is for you. If, like me, you have ever though 'I'm too busy', then this book is for you. If, like me, you've ever said yes to something you know you shouldn't have, then this book is for you. If, like me, you've ever wanted to ask for help but haven't felt you deserved it, then this book is for you. If, like me, you have ever seriously wanted to think about your priorities but have never 'found the time', then this book is for you. In fact, I can't recommend it enough. It has really changed my life. I know that sounds cheesy and cliched but it's true. I would recommend this book as it's a very comprehensive, Bible-based book, that you just have to read. The book considers different boundary issues we might have (eg at work, with family, with friends, with ourselves). It looks at how we can address these and gain a bit more control of our lives. It looks at how we can stop trying to take responsibility for things that are beyond our remit. And that is a really valuable lesson that I wish I had learnt long ago.

do NOT buy this book! it is supposed to be read alongside with the DVD included. It will be delivered WITHOUT dvd. totally useless without it! waste of money and time

This is book was resourceful and informative. I would recommend this book to everyone. Everyone should have boundaries. This book teaches you how to set them and validate your reason for such need.

Great book, I learned a lot from it about setting and holding boundaries

this is the out dated 1980's version. Although still applicable. The updated version is much better but very difficult to find (order).
