Still grinding through, but Crack the Core makes radiology a lot less boring — the humor actually helps the concepts stick.

I bought Crack the Core to support my FRCR revision, and overall, it’s been a helpful resource overall. It’s especially good for reinforcing key concepts and simplifying complex topics. However, some sections feel overly condensed, while others could be made more compact and better organised for clarity. I had to supplement with other resources to fill in the gaps. The books are quite big and I think they could be made smaller and a bit compact. The first volume covers Chest, CVS, Paediatrics, GI and Genito urinary including Gynae and Obs. If you’re preparing for the FRCR, I’d recommend using Crack the Core as a secondary resource. It’s great for quick review and concept reinforcement, but not sufficient on its own for complete exam coverage.
