Perfect fit. Simple extra protection!
I'm a full time pro and am sometimes not as careful as I should be with my gear. The Canon pro cameras are tough thankfully but this seemed like a smart way to forestall an inevitable expensive repair.I followed the example video on the product page and it was just as easy to put on as it looked.One real plus is that with this, when I put on a tripod arca swiss plate, I'll be able to keep the plate from moving around as it provides traction to keep the plate in place. It didn't seem to matter how tight I got the plate on there normally, it would eventually loosen and twist. I happen to have one on there when I went to out this cover on so its in my pics.You may have noticed tape on my lens. I put gaffer tape over the IS and Focus switches so they don't get inadvertently turned off.
