In central TX, the 6" worked well, it dug right into the clay, 2 inches deep and 4inches on the surface.

Best value to have a metal border for your garden hands down. I would compare this to the very expensive straight metal pieces for garden borders sold at big box stores, but you get 3-4x the coverage in distance for the amount of pieces you need to match the distance on this border. I thought the install was simple provided you prep your site and have a spade available to cut a path for the border to be placed.

The product is pretty sturdy and as long as you use a 2x4 or something on top when hammering down it seems to hold up well. It works good for rounded sections but is very difficult to make straight for straight segments. So far seems to be holding well in the ground with no additional stakes and is keeping the grass/weeds out.

The LAVEVE Corrugated Metal Garden Edging to my landscaping project, and I’m quite pleased with the results. There has NEVER been such a fantastic edging ever! It is the strongest, easiest to put in edging I have ever used and I have been gardening for 50 years. It pounds in like a knife through butter, it is a perfect hight, and there is NO way any weeds are getting through this. I have now bought like 6 of them and they are all I will ever use from now on. I had almost given up on my strawberry gardens because of hideous weeds but this stuff saved me!! You won’t be sorry, it’s incredible!

As a Florida landscaper, I've worked with many different types of edging. I opted for this product due to its 12" heighth. We had some pretty significant erosion after frequent hurricanes the last few years and I needed a way to raise the soil level because of some root exposure on my coconut palm. Given I live on a barrier island, we have very sandy soil and I was hoping this wouldn't create an issue given that the only means of securing the edging is by burying about half of it. However, I had no issues. My biggest concerns are corrosion. This wasn't really touched on in the product description. I have posted a picture of the detailed instructions for your convenience. I will update my review once it's had some time outdoors to test it's durability and once it gets filled with soil and some plants. Definitely make sure you have a good pair of tin snips and cut resistant gloves if you plan on adjusting its length.

Great for blocking grass growth into out flower bed. Took a bit to intall but worth it.

Excellent product. Easy to install.

I made the mistake of ordering the 10” border, it is too difficult to install deep enough into the soil so that it looks nice. I would recommend ordering the smaller version and tap it into the ground using a mallet and piece of scrap wood.
