Great variety
If you're into Evercade stuff I imagine it's partly for the nostalgia rush. The Indie collections tend to be lesser known games or new ones made in that way and which tend to offer a similar rush, albeit games that don't have you saying "I remember this" from when you spent fortunes in the arcade. There are a few that are on things like the Gameboy colour like Big2Small on Indie Heroes 3 and probably most are on various platforms as there are here, but it's great having a collection on an actual cart which load instantly. All the Indie carts I've tried so far have had a great variety of games and something you'll sink your time into. There are definitely some Gameboy games on here and so they suit the Super Pocket pretty well. I won't review all the games here or we'd be in war and peace territory. You can look at the Evercade site to get an idea of what they're like and the genre. A few which I really enjoyed though here. Zabaleta - not at all a point and click fan, but I got drawn into this, great sense of humour Soko Banana - an excellent puzzler that will steal your life or make a train journey whizz by Jane Austen's 8 bit adventure - a fun platformer which also has had me laughing out loud at times. Murtop is a kind of Dig Dug style game which I have really enjoyed so far. Star seed is a fairly basic but ok shoot em up. I couldn't really get into Flea 2, well not yet anyway. And that's the deal. If you get 14 games but if three or four grab you, then they're well worthwhile but do realise it's going to be a mixed bag for your own personal tastes. Also physical carts without constant loading, updates and micro transactions etc are a massive tick. The indie carts have tended to be my favourites so far just for the sheer variety - all played on the Super Pocket which works brilliantly with all of these.

This cartidge will probably be the last in its kind and it is also out of print. A very fine collection of games that are made with heart. Best is these games all have a fun factor, something that is mostly forgotten in recent games. One of the best collections on Evercade.
