Shining Time Station: Bully for Mr. Conductor VHS

When I first saw this episode, it was the best thing I ever saw. Though I was kind of disappointed when my favorite character, schemer got threatened.

I'm not overly thrilled with the production values of the now defunct Shining Time Station, but my kids really enjoy these videos, and they do have worthwhile lessons for little ones. This one is particularly good because it covers the tricky topic of bullying.While the execution is a little clumsy, the overarching message that most bullies are cowards in disguise is actually a pretty good and important lesson that isn't covered often enough in children's media. It's a good add to your library if you can find it.

Say what you will, but this is the show that introduced Thomas the Tank Engine to the United States. Thank you Shining Time Station.

I remember when I got this back when I was a kid and I really enjoyed Mr. Conductor, Thomas, and Shining Time Station (which I still enjoy). This story taught me about how bullies are chicken, but won't admit it. This is a MUST HAVE for Thomas fans.
