AveneXeraCalm Eczema Calming Relief Balm, 3.3 Fl Oz

I went in to my Skin Doctor with Dermatitis from trying products that REALLY irritated my skin to the point of burning, cracking, red and peeling. She gave me a prescription ointment and the recommendation of trying the Avene line. I mentioned Av**o (the "other" line that has a different letter at the end of the name, and shall remain nameless) and she said "That's not a bad line either, but this one I even suggest for my Eczema Babies. We actually have it available here in our office or you can order it on Amazon." She gave me a sample of this exact product. I used it after the ointment on only the parts of my skin that didn't have the ointment on it, as suggested, and I went ahead and ordered it. When done with the ointment treatment, I used it all over my face and neck. At first it felt abit "greasy" after application, and I'm not sure how it would fare under makeup. But now... No irritation, still has a heavy feel (not as greasy), but makes the skin on my face and neck feel and look great! I'm excited to go back to my Skin Doctor and have her see the results and get more Avene product recommendations from her!P.S. No scent and I'm still using the "tube" I originally ordered. Doesn't look to be down to half way yet. I don't care! I'll be ordering this again!

I'ts a little expensive for the size

I have red spots on my face that haven’t responded to any cosmetic. I’ve been using this for some time twice a day and have smooth skin with no redness. Love it!!

I've used other skincare from this brand in the and this was my first time trying an eczema balm. The tube arrived safely packaged; it is 3.3fl oz in size.My impressions:- the product is white in color and thick in texture; it melts into the skin nicely and holds moisture- the product has no fragrance, which I love- I've used this product on various parts the body, including the face. I use tretinoin for anti aging and this product is wonderful on my face when my skin feels sensitive and irritated- this balm is moisturizing, soothing and calms down my inflamed skin barrier- this product did not give me breakoutsThis is a quality product for sensitive/eczema-prone skin and a good value for the money.

Finding skincare without perfumes and colorants is crucial for my health. This moisturizer perfectly addresses this requirement. Its consistency falls somewhere between runny and thick formulations. My sensitive skin feels simultaneously soothed and moisturized when I apply it. I appreciate the protective seal that covered the dispenser initially and how the compact tube fits perfectly into my purse for applications away from home. Though this marks my introduction to their brand, I'll definitely be using their products again.

Thick, non scented cream that goes on like a coat of protection but once rubbed in doesn’t leave behind any residue. The cream seems to be working with continued use, my child with skin issues has shown improvement so I’d say to give this a try if you are looking for relief.

I was very optimistic to use but personally not a good fit for me because it has 5 ingredients that trigger my scanner for FA breakouts - Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Polysorbate 20, Sorbitan Isostearate. I love avene so it saddens me that I can't use it due to my FA but maybe I will use on my hands or something
