Decent beginner mat... don't expect a professional response.
For a first time may, this is great and kids can get good use out of it to improve their timing. However, as far as longevity is concerned I wouldn't expect it to last too long. The plastic is fairly thin and too much force can easily break the counter. I would say it's fine for cubes or stacking cups but don't expect this to be in service for more than a few months to a year. Great for the beginner phase.

Excellent speed cube mat for beginners- intermediate
Our son has greatly improved his cube solving speed with this mat! Highly recommend!

Good quality mat and timer, but for cubing only
The mat and timer are made of good quality and work as expected. I wanted to use the mat also for cup stacking, but it's not wide enough for that. For cubing, however, there's plenty of room.

Great For Cubers
This timer and mat are great for Rubiks Cubes. They are accurate in timing. The timer is easy to touch to begin and end the timer. It is durable and I can throw it in my bag to take with me. Great value for the money!

Son loves it! No instructions, but easy fix!
I got this for my son, who has recently become obsessed with solving the Rubik’s(?) Cube. He absolutely LOVES it!! He already had a timer for cup stacking, but he says he likes this one a lot more! Even though it states on the box to review the instructions, there were none to be found! Easy fix though - Just search online for “Instructions YQ Toys timer”, and video instructions should pop up.
