This coffee maker exceeded my expectations. While I did not time the duration to brew a full pot, I believe it was actually less than the six minutes I read somewhere as the amount of time it would take. The machine appears sleek and minimalist which I appreciate, but the best part is how simple it is to operate. It brews a delicious cup of coffee and the hot plate keeps the coffee hot versus my manual pour over pot. The carafe and basket are incredibly easy to clean and the set up took 2 minutes - the packaging and simplistic nature of the machine makes set up and use a breeze. I will be recommending this to friends, and I’ve already given away my manual pour over as this is quicker and easier to use. The machine is sturdy and with the stainless steel and minimalist design the only thing that could break would be the glass carafe - and that would take user error. Definitely a great value for the cost. This functions as a coffee maker should - no fuss, just a good cup of coffee. Lastly, given how fast it brews, there is no need for a timer to auto brew since you can wake up press the button drink a glass of water and then your coffee is ready. Also while some of the reviews complain there are plastic components, show me a coffee maker that doesn’t (excluding a French press since anyone buying this is clearly looking for an automatic machine). There is no more plastic on this machine then any of the other similar products on the market. If you want an automatically brewed quality cup of coffee, then this is the machine to invest in.

Our old coffee maker finally died and we decided to upgrade our coffee maker. After tons of research we decided on the aarke machine. It was definitely the right choice! It was on the pricier side but we decided to go for it anyway and I have no regrets! It brews an amazing pot. It really does taste like pour over! We also decided to upgrade to the aarke grinder and we have just loved how well they work together. The design is clean and elegant and looks really beautiful in our kitchen!

This is the worst electric coffee maker I have ever owned. Don’t waste your money. It never gives the amount of coffee for the amount of water put in. There is always one cup of water left that never makes it to the brewing basket.Today the metal handle broke off. The turn on button sometimes goes off in the middle of brewing coffee.

I’ve been using the coffee machine for a few weeks now and it’s been one of my favorite kitchen upgrades. The coffee quality is amazing and super consistent. It feels like a precision machine rather than another coffee machine. I bought the insulated pot as well and love how long it keeps the coffee warm. I work from home and am still able to have hot coffee for my 3pm pick me up. I also have the aarke carbonator and love everything aarke creates. Some small added wins with the coffee machine are the auto turn off so I don’t need to worry about turning off the machine at night, the quietness of the machine, super easy to clean, and super user friendly.

The coffee maker itself works quite well and you can taste the difference in the quality of the brew. However, the fragility of the item is a major negative, as the metal handle for the filter broke off while washing it less than three months after purchase. The glass pot also feels low quality as well, as if it may break from routine maintenance or an errant cotton ball gently glancing it. While the performance is great, the build simply isn't up to snuff, justifying 2 stars.

Pros: Well made. Looks great. Makes great coffee. Minimal to no microplastic exposure. Cons : very expensive Warming plate lasts 40 min on, then you have to turn it on again for an additional 40 minutes.

This is a good looking coffee maker. I wanted a plastic free coffee maker. This is not plastic free. The water sits in plastic and the coffee filter sits in plastic. The lid on the coffee pot is plastic. It works well but is not plastic free.

Wish we knew about the sooner. Only critique is that now we can't go back
