i purchased the “gold” kyoto, and it’s amazing in both quality, taste, and affordability. finding decent “everyday” matcha on amazon is extremely difficult. you’ll find a good brand, then it’ll be out of stock when you go to repurchase. i took a gamble on this one and can confirm it’s extremely similar to the ippodo sakaya - i can hardly taste the difference. i attached a photo of the color mixed with approx 4.5 oz of oat milk! as real matcha drinkers know that the color is a great indicator of a good tea!

The media could not be loaded. The color is yellow/green, but still very pretty. Froths up well. Upon opening the powder, you can smell sweet/umami, once hot water hits, it brings out an earthy aroma but it’s not strong. I like to whisk the matcha into a thick paste (koicha), and taste that first before adding more water to make usucha. The flavor is mild, umami, slight bitterness, and minimal astringency. When adding more water, you can a subtle sweetness to it. I can drink this in usucha, matchacano, and latte form. As a latte, very smooth and creamy. You can sweetened it to your desire. Great for beginners, AND everyday matcha drinker 😌💚🍵. Highly recommend 👏🏼, I’ve also recommended this brand to a couple of my friends before trying it out myself, and they all loved it.

A bit bitter after taste, not my favorite brand but the price point is decent and it tastes well with different flavors. My favorite is lavender, raspberry or mango!

First time trying this matcha. Was impressed with the color and whisking. I patched whisked first. Then I added more water to the whisking and add agave for sweetener. Very foamy and creamy. Loved it.

The media could not be loaded. this matcha powder is one of the most affordable ones i’ve come across, $22.99/40g is insanely amazing! and don’t allow the price fool you into thinking the quality won’t show up because it definitely does!! the vibrant green powder ensuring the matcha is high quality, stone milled giving the texture a smooth and creamy mouthfeel as well as frothy up nicely, the taste is also refreshing and vegetal with low to no astringency! i was truly blown away by how delicious this matcha was, high recommend to any beginners who are interested in starting to get into matcha or even just looking for an affordable option but not trying to sacrifice quality as well :Dthe founder is also very sweet and provides lots of knowledge behind the culture of matcha !

Worth the money it had a good taste and smooth

Although I don't like the taste enough for traditional matcha tea, I like it in matcha lattes. Impressed by the color and quality for the price
