Great eye vitamin
I purchased this supplement at the request of my ophthalmologist. After watching my grandmother go blind from macular degeneration, I knew I wanted to do everything I could to prevent the same thing from happening to me. The doctor's office sells something similar loaded with extra stuff that I already take in my daily vitamin and for a much higher price. I settled on this one because it has the same amount of the 3 proteins and less of the added stuff. I have it on subscription so I save money and never run out. There is no taste, it's easy to swallow since it's small, and doesn't turn your pee and alarming shade of orange. I've only been on it gor 3 months so I can't verify how well it works but that will come I'm sure.

Best eye supplement
Best supplement to support eye health and slow down progression of macular degeneration. Only 1 tab a day vs. the other popular supplement dosage is twice a day. (am/pm) Couldn’t remember the pm dose.

Works for me
My optometrist recommended these as a preventive. In a year, my pigment had increased by 100%, reducing my risk of macular degeneration. I plan to take his advice and continue to take daily. I cannot find in stores, so I shop for the best deals on Amazon.

Great item; expiration date Very close, usually further.. Received today 3/14/2025; Expir date 6/2025..granted still ok, but closer then I usually see.

Worth Trying
After cataract surgery, my ophthalmologist said to take Macuhealth eye supplement every day, forever. Well I did some research and found Macushield is identical to MacuHelth but much cheaper and has been working just fine. Don't take my word, check it out yourself. Highly recommended.

I love this product. It works. I'm being taking for a while, it works. I haven't been taking for 2 months I can see the difference. My vision got blurred. I'd reorder and is coming in a couple of days

Recommended by my optician to help slow down my AMD. The gel capsules are very user friendly for those with difficulty in swallowing pills. Product does what it says on the box with no extra vitamins added. Very pleased with these.
