This heavy, strong tracing paper takes graphite, coloured pencil and ink really well. It withstands multiple applications of pencil and repeated, vigorous rubbing out without crumpling, tearing or any other problems so can be used for directly working up a sketch on as well as tracing. I find it perfect for this and for tracing guidelines for complicated subjects like buildings onto watercolour paper with the minimum of erasure, fuss and mess. (Rub a soft graphite stick on the reverse and use a brightly coloured biro to trace so you can see where you have been and the job is done.) I have used other brands and lighter weights of tracing paper in the past but have found this one the strongest and best. Do make sure you store used and unused sheets in a dry place though, since it is ruined by damp.

Great quality tracing paper, it very hard to rip but easy to cut, it came fast and tubed up to prevent creases.
