Better than I expected for the price.
I was pleasantly surprised with this banjolele. I placed the bridge using the provided template and found the banjolele was in tune. I had to adjust the first string slightly. There overall fit, finish and setup is excellent. There are a couple very minor blemishes that you have to search for to find. I expected I would have to do some setup to make this play to my liking but I did not have to do a thing. The action is low, the neck is straight. The tuners are smooth. There are no sharp fret ends. For the money, this is an excellent buy. I’m always leery about buying inexpensive instruments on Amazon, but this one is a winner. I have played ukuleles for some time now and I have repaired half a dozen in the past year. One included removing a smashed top and replacing it with new one I made from some Padauk I had on hand, so I know a little bit about construction and quality. All strings except the 1st (A string) stay in tune and it only flattens out slightly over time. Many times you have to constantly tune ukes until the strings are broken in. Sometimes that is because of crappy tuning keys. The tuners on this are tight enough that they do not lose tune easily, but still turn smoothly. The sound quality is pretty good too. Not fantastic, but good.

Nice product
Surprise!! What a nice Banjolele with Skull inlays. I'm excited !! All parts were in box. Tuner wrench in side picket of gig bag. Nice quality, good sound, but I need to settle the strings in and hope I've got bridge installed as instructed. Fun !!

Worth every penny and more!!!!!!
it is crazy how nice this banjolele is! The quality of the wood and hardware and finishes are so impressiveand I can't believe the price! It was missing the stencil that shows you where to put the bridge but I checked on google and found you measure from the nut to the 12th fret and then place bridge the same distance from the 12th fret on the drum/head. Mine measured 7 1/2". The sound is so nice and it even came with a pick up!!!! The strap is made for two buttons and there is only one on this banjolele so I don't know how to attach it but I don't need it anyway and I can use it on one of my other ukeleles! Worth the money and then some!

Amazing Quality and Sound
This little instrument package is quite a deal. The quality and sound exceeded my expectations for such a great price. All of the accessories are very high quality as well. I especially love the removable fret guide that also assists with the proper bridge placement. I look forward to playing with this little banjo!

Looks like a fun little banjolele.
Would have given 5 stars, if it would have been the model I ordered. The difference is that head stock on the one I ordered, looked like a traditional banjo. The one that was delivered is squared like you would normally see on an uke. Still, it is a very well made banjolele. Other than that, the truss wrench wasn't in the box. Everything else was. Tuned up well and 24 hrs later still in tune. Love the inlays along the fret board.Good price.

Dot Inlay instead of Vines
Seems like a nice little Banjolele for the price. However, I ordered the MBU-806, with the Vine Inlay on the neck; I received the Dot Inlay.I have not decided how to proceed.2025.05.07

Very well made
My son is a banjo player and I thought it would be cute to for my grandson to pick it up too. It's his perfect size and it sounds great even with cheap strings. If you want a better sound you might want to change the strings but it still sounds great either way. For beginners it's perfect.

Warped neck, unplayable out of the box
Piece of absolute junk, stay away. neck was so warped that even if you tightened the "strings" to the breaking point, all the strings still made contact with the frets 3/4 of the way down the fretboard.
