I bought these simply to replace my old rockit K8’s I certainly didn’t expect to receive double the quality output of those in these but it is certainly the case. I use these for making music from an MPC 5000….they have improved my ability to pick sounds that go well together. The build quality is also amazing, sturdy and they provide correct sound to understand what sounds power through the mix. For mixing my music I’ve had a pair of Adam A7x for years and years so I doubt I will be changing those out any time soon but I will tell you that these monitors help me get closer to a perfect mix in the creation process before even attempting to mix down and so my music has improved dramatically just from that…,I highly recommend these if you’re looking for a serious home recording studio monitoring set up. They have a nice look and are easy to use and understand.

Bought these to replace my old behringer Truth monitors. The sound is excellent.

I'm an audio engineer for 19 years and these are as good as any studio reference monitors from Mackie, JBL and M-Audio etc. $300 for the pair can't be beat. They look great and sound even better. Don't be fooled by the old "Behringer" name as music group has been making some of the best products available for the last 7 or so years.

The 8 inch speakers performs decently for mid to high frequencies. What disappoints me was the bass response, it was almost non-existent which is really surprising for such a big speaker. There are other speakers that have much better price-to-performance ratio and outperforms the Behringer despite their smaller sizes (e.g. JBL 305, Eris Studio 4/5, Adam T5V).
