Wow! Love this! I have a little dachshund dog and she is constantly itchy, so much so that I have to take her in every four weeks to the vet to get an anti itch shot for her. The shots are good, but they don’t take all the itching away. She tends to have a lot of problems on her hind legs and around her neck and ears so I bought this product and I’m so glad that I did. I spray it on her fur and I push the fur back-and-forth as I spray so that the spray gets down to the skin level and doesn’t just lay on top of her hair. It has to penetrate the skin. You can spray enough where they’re fur is quite wet but don’t worry it dries really fast and has a nice clean smell. It does not burn the dogs skin at all and it really calms down those acute itching episodes . I know little Eva Rae appreciates it ! I always have a bottle on hand and I also keep one in the car. I will always re-order this.

I’m now on a subscription service for this spray to use on my blue pit bull. This is the ONLY product I’ve found that actually helps provide any type of relief. Tried them all including the chewables. Don’t waste your time with that other stuff, buy this today. Key is to spread hair, spray directly onto affected areas, masssge into skin with ginger, and try to hold dog still for a few minutes so he can’t go shake and rub it all off. The skin needs to soak up the product for it to be effective. I’ve also made note of all the main ingredients, should this product become unavailable, I know what’s in it and what to look to buy. Before picture below, along with 2 after treatment photos. Give it 3 full weeks of treatments followed as directions say before you give up on it. For the shampoo variant, massage and leave on skin for the full 10 minutes! Don’t cut it short.

My senior dog had a couple patches of skin that were scabbing. I don't know what caused them. I decided to give this a try. Even after the first shampoo she felt a little better. I waited 2 days then gave her another bath with this shampoo and little by little I can see an improvement. I did let her soak with the shampoo on for about 5 minutes each time. The bottle states do not let your dog lick the shampoo off or the animal will get diarrhea and they weren't kidding. The shampoo is thick and doesn't smell like medicine.

Works fairly good. My cat isn't thrilled as I'm sure it stings some but otherwise helps with disinfecting their injury.

For those of you that are concerned about the cost to use this shampoo on big dogs, here's a tip. Get an empty Dawn bottle and fill it 2/3 of the way with water then put a couple of squirts of the shampoo in it. Most shampoos can be diluted quite a bit for regular use. If there are certain spots on your dog that are particularly problematic and itchy, use straight shampoo on those few areas.Also if your dog gets cold while you're waiting for the shampoo to sit for a while, as all medicated shampoos must do, here's another tip. Get a big beach towel and wrap the dog in it. This is known as the doggy burrito . You can use bankers clips or potato chip bag clips to hold the towel in place and even let the dog out of the tub under supervision until the shampoo has worked.Also the active ingredient in the shampoo is ketoconazole which is also used in human shampoos you can buy at the drugstore. Not sure if that would be any cheaper.

My dog was suffering from allergies vet said they gave her a shot for it but it wasn’t helping her skin was irritated and flaky then it will turn dark but the worst was the smell. We could smell her from a room away and it will ruin your appetite. I trim her hair shorter and gave her baths weekly with different shampoos thinking it will fix it but it will only help first day reducing the smell. So I did some research and found good reviews on this shampoo I also bought the spray just because I wouldn’t be able to bathe her daily. I was surprised only one use and she doesn’t stink her allergies still there but I’m hopeful that the spray will help.

Packing might need to be fixed since I’m not sure if the packaged was opened or not. Smell is ok.

I highly recommend this product! I have a Shar Pei that has always had skin issues and may even have a bad smell to his skin. I use the antiseptic shampoo which has helped so much but this spray in-between does the trick for sure. I do use coconut oil and it relieves for a few hours but this spray gives him ease the whole day. No scratching, gnawing, or licking.
