Lovely luxurious sponges, and a pleasure to use.
I am in love with these gorgeous konjac body sponges.They arrive in a natural looking box which is perfect for gifting, or just for that luxury pampering feeling. Inside there are two sponges, one is a creamy shade and the other is a coral pink. At this point they are dry and shrunk and really don't look like anything too special to anyone uninitiated in the world of konjac. You also get a neat little suction hook for hanging your sponge up with at shower time (a nice little touch), and a cute little leaflet.The sponges are, disappointingly, shrink wrapped in plastic. I guess the manufacturer has reasons for this and I don't know what those reasons are, but if they could find an alternative to plastic, that would gain brownie points. As it is, we are talking very small amounts of plastic and I can only guess that it prevents the sponge from degrading as konjac sponges have a limited lifespan once opened and dampened.Sizewise, once these sponges are hydrated they are a lovely size to hold. There's a little string/thread at the top for hanging on your little suction hook.The sponge feels silky and soft. Some people describe the feel of konjac sponges as slimey but I think they have a soft, luxurious, silken feel to them. As expected, it produces tons of lovely suds from just a little shower gel. Skin feels soft and healthy after use. The sponge claims to exfoliate; skin definitely feels soft after use.I'm giving these five stars with a small nod at the manufacturer to do something about the plastic wrap if possible, please!!!

It breaks to bits
The white sponge disintegrated the first time I used it and blocked my sink!! So now I have none . It should be replaced

Was not sure what to expect with these sponges didn’t even know Konjac was a natural vegetable fibre so I’m guessing enviro entally friendly.The 2 sponges arrived in a little box which is recyclable although the sponges are sealed in a plastic wrap.On first feel I was concerned as the are quite hard and rough in feel, however after soaking for a few minutes in warm water they become very soft.Using the sponge on my face in a gentle circular movement with my face wash my skin has become softer and noticably clearer.The sponges come with a sucker hook so can be put on the shower cubicle which the sponges can be hung from until ready to use again.It is suggested to clean the sponges in very hot water every 2 weeks and to replace every 4-6 weeks as the sponge can start to disintergrate.
