I really liked this LED module because of its stable performance and brightness. It has a built-in current stabilizer, and this really makes it reliable: the light does not flicker even with voltage fluctuations. I installed it as daytime running lights, and from the first days it was obvious how much more effective they are than the old solutions - bright, even, without overheating. Before that I tried several budget analogs based on conventional SMD-diodes, but they either had a failed driver or noticeable flickering when turned on. I use this model and have no complaints: stable operation, the case has not yellowed, everything is in place. From the specific characteristics I would like to note: working voltage 9-30V, which allows you to connect it to various on-board networks without fear - suitable for cars and trucks. The length of the wire is 30 cm - enough to connect without additional extension cords. The dimensions of the outer frame are about 113 mm, the inner diameter is 98 mm, which gave me the opportunity to fit the light exactly into the seat without modifications. The product fully meets my expectations: it is easy to install, does not require additional converters, and is suitable for a variety of tasks!!!!

First time taking apart some headlights to install these. What a difference they make!

Smaller than expected.. still a good product

I bought these 100mm ring lights to put over the quill on a milling machine to provide better illumination of the work piece. The dimensions for ID and OD are perfectly accurate (88mm ID, 103mm OD). They are rated for 12 or 24V use but I found I could run them down to 10.3 volts before they flickered. Using a 9V/800mA wall wart (>12V open circuit), I found these lights worked just fine and only pulled the wall wart down to 11.5V. Not mentioned in the product description is a self-adhesive strip on the back of the LED chip-on-board (COB) tape.

One of the lights about 1/4 of the leds were faulty and didn’t work. I sat on them too long and didn’t test them right away. So id recommend testing them to make sure they work if you dont plan in using them soon after getting.

Halo light was advertised as operating over 9-30V range. I connected 24V DC, and each of the two units lit up brightly for about half a second and then died, with the smell of smoke apparent. I'm an electrical engineer, so this was not user error.

Work great as lighting for my FLSUN SR.
