Unblocked sink in minutes,great little tool

Bought to clear a blockage in a long plastic drain pipe from a kitchen sink. Discovered that I had a 30 foot fatburg. This cleared it but it wasn’t straightforward. The claw isn’t really that big, so although it pushes through, it only pushes a small channel. I had to wind a bit of coat hanger on the end to clear the whole pipe. Also, and most disappointingly, it really struggles with corners so again I had to fashion a wire extension to guide it round the corners. It’s a very strong, but the handle doesn’t always turn the whole wire unless it’s all in the pipe, if there is any hanging out of the pipe then it just twists around itself rather than twisting the claw.

I ordered the 3m auger because it looked more robust than the 1.5m version. Unfortunately it is not the same as the picture! It has a corkscrew end not a claw end. It is also only 5mm so not suitable for clearing toilet blockages. I tried it anyway but it didn't remove my blockage I suspect it just pushes through it. Confirmed part number is 11619.

Unblocked the sink within 30 mins. Mr Muscle, a million boiling kettles and a couple of bottles of bleach couldn't get the water flowing in the kitchen sink. For £7 it was great value for money. I'm not sure how useful the turny handle is, put for poking it's great.

Worked really well. Pipes were cleaned of gunk and hair and the doing moved easily through the twists

Llevaba dos días buscando solución a un atasco en el fregadero, compré productos líquidos, gel desatascador y nada. Puse las palabras claves en Amazon y encontré este producto. Lo pedí ayer por la tarde, esta mañana a las 10:30 llegó mi pedido, inmediatamente me puse manos a la obra. Decir que es una herramienta muy simple, sin tecnología, a la vez que introduzco el cable, lo giro un poco si se resiste y avanza. El atasco estaba a unos dos metros, cuando llegó al tope empecé a girar con la manivela, entonces el cable continuó su camino. Al retirarlo a la vez que lo extraigo le giro la manivela. Aclarar que tienes que desmontar el codo del sifón y acceder directamente por la tubería principal. Después poner el tapón, llenar el fregadero y después quitar el tapón y dejar que la presión arrastre los restos del interior del turbo.

Tenia atasco en fregadero, con lo que se debía salvar el sifón. La manivela ayuda y se consigue avanzar. Sí conseguí desatacar, pero el diámetro de la varilla, no hace que limpie totalmente (o al menos yo no lo conseguí) el diámetro del tubo. Sin embargo, siempre se tiene ahí para usar en 2 minutos si vuelve a atascarse. Es algo complicado de guardar porque tiende a abrirse. Recomiendo dimensión mínima, porque si compráis uno muy largo, no debe haber dios quien lo guarde. mejor mas pequeño, para manejar y guardar.

Ottimo e funzionale. Funziona benissimo e l'unica controindicazione è che l'ho comprato io lungo 3 metri ma sicuramente per tubature con pochi snodi è perfetto
