Easy to install, works great
I'm using this to mount a monitor in portrait mode. It works great! The joints are easily adjustable yet firm, so once I have them positioned the way I want, they don't get bumped out of place easily. The ability to choose to mount via either a clamp or through a hole is a nice feature, but I didn't try the through-hole method since I don't have a desk with a hole. I'm using the clamp approach.Installation was a piece of cake. I like how the clamp and the pole are two separate parts, which means I can screw the clamp into place without an unwieldy heavy pole getting in the way. Once the clamp is in the place, screw the pole into it. Then attach the monitor arm to the pole and adjust it as desired. They include three clips for routing cables along the stand, which helps hide the monitor cables from view. The rectangular clips that attach to the arm work great and stay in place, but the circular clip that attaches to the pole is flimsy and doesn't do a great job of staying in place. I wish that one were more robust, but that's my sole complaint about the whole product.I'm using a 25" monitor in portrait mode. In portrait mode, the monitor is 22.5" (571mm) tall.

Great temporary mount
I was worried this would be wobbly and unstable once I set it up and attached a 27" monitor to it but I've been very impressed by the stability. Not to mention when I first ordered this I didn't even realize it could be set up in a grommet hole as a more permanent stable solution to the clamp. I've only been using the clamp on mine so far but I plan to try the grommet hole method soon.If you need a monitor mount with full range of motion on a budget I don't think you're going to find a better value than this. If you're like me and you're worried about stability and considering a screw in mount instead maybe give it a try and install it with the grommet hole method first since I assume that is the more stable of the two.Outside of that, not a lot to say. It installs in seconds, it holds the monitor, it's half the price of some of the permanent mount competition. Solid choice I think

Adequate strength for its weight restrictions
The "JOY worker Single Monitor Mount, Monitor Desk Mount Fits 12"-32" Screens, Fit up to 17.6LBS, Fully Adjustable Monitor Stand with C-Clamp/Gromment Base, Removable VESA Plate 75x75 or 100x100mm, Black" I received matched the listing photos. There are times when a style like this is needed to clear a desk and items on it. I generally use spring and gas loaded elbow extended arms on a mount but needed one like this for a specific bench. My 27 inch monitor is pretty lightweight so it works just fine.It doesn't freely move up and down, but I can adjust height by loosening the arm clamp to slide it up. Same outcome in the end. This way just takes a little time. The entire construction is strong enough to support its limit. I really have nothing to complain about. Goos product!

Recommend if you don't need gas or spring powered arms but pricier than I think it should be
The value on this is poor because at these prices you can get gas/spring powered mounts which are just much more convenient to move your monitor around. Setting it up was really simple but get ready to put some elbow grease to get the screws nice and tight, especially the one that adjusts the height. If you plan on setting it in one position and never moving the height again then this arm is great. I did notice the arm drooping a bit and not end up completely straight from the weight, seems to be normal though as I tightened the height adjustment screw as much as I possibly could.

Works great for 27in
I use this for a single 27" monitor from Onn that acts as a third monitor in my set. It works great! The build was easy, and I got it done in under 10 minutes. The weight is comparable to other units of this kind. The screws went in easily and were compatible with my regular tools. I don't have to mess with the stability of this, it does remain stable where I put it.
