So Baumann's "Cosmology" is only for those with a serious mathematical inclination. I'm very happy with it and it is exactly what I needed for my own work. Review: Popular lecture notes available in book format and online resources. After Harrison's and Ryden's books on cosmology, Baumann's text is a very good reference in order to achieve the level of the classic ones (i.e. Dodelson, Weinberg, Kolb and Turner, ..).

For the serious mathematical cosmologist
This is a good up-to-date book. It is way more advanced than Ryden's excellent book "Introduction to Cosmology". So Baumann's "Cosmology" is only for those with a serious mathematical inclination. I'm very happy with it and it is exactly what I needed for my own work.

Popular lecture notes available in book format and online resources. After Harrison's and Ryden's books on cosmology, Baumann's text is a very good reference in order to achieve the level of the classic ones (i.e. Dodelson, Weinberg, Kolb and Turner, ..).

Il libro è molto bello, chiaro e scritto bene. Purtroppo nell’edizione Kindle mancano, cioe sono in bianco, una decina di figure (a partire dalla 3.6). Io non ho trovato il modo di farmelo cambiare, Voto 3 ma sarebbe 5 senza qusto inaccettabile difetto. Nessuno in Amazon se ne è accorto? Eugenio Tabet

Liked the book. Thorough for a short book especially with the Appendices. I haven't looked seriously at cosmology in many years and this is a good refresher and up-to-dater. Also looking at Barbara Ryden's book which Baumann also recommends.
