VELUXACTIVE Indoor Climate Control Starter Kit (KIX 300)

This kit is a doddle to set up. Works really well with my Google mesh and Google home.

Insgesamt schon peinlich, was sich ein Marktführer in diesem Bereich leistet. Schweineteure Dachfenster mit solargetriebenen Rollläden und Fernbedienung und keine Möglichkeit ein zeitgesteuertes Auf -und Zufahren einzustellen.Unsere 30 Jahre alten Fenster im Erdgeschoss haben so etwas schon standardmäßig drin.Ich brauchte also nur ein Tool, um die Rollläden automatisch zu öffnen und zu schließen. Der freundliche Velux-Support nahm die Daten auf und kam zu dem Ergebnis, dass die einzige Möglichkeit die Verwendung der KIX 300 Active Raumklima-Steuerung sei. Ganz nebenbei doppelt so teuer wie unser kompletter Saugroboter, bei dem man die tägliche Arbeitszeit per Fernbedienung einstellen kann.Wozu man diese Klimasteuerung benötigt und was die dazugehörige Abwesenheitsschaltung bewirkt, erschließt sich mir überhaupt nicht. Völlig überflüssiger Humbug und die Abwesenheit kann man auch über die App schalten.Apropos App, offensichtlich gibt es einige Kunden, bei denen die Einrichtung nicht funktionierte. Das kann ich für mich nicht bestätigen. Bei mir funktionierte die Installation der Android-Version einwandfrei. Kopplung mit dem Gateway, Einrichtung der Zimmer und einzelnen Fenster völlig problemlos. Auch der Zugriff übers Internet einwandfrei. Die App ist nicht ganz so intuitiv zu bedienen und eine komplette Beschreibung war leider nicht dabei. Ich bin dann aber auf eine Velux FAQ-Seite zu dem Produkt gestoßen, welche schon weitergeholfen hat.Also insgesamt 5 Sterne (notgedrungen), weil das Produkt das macht was es soll.Für mich persönlich kommt Velux in Zukunft grundsätzlich nicht mehr in Frage

Zur weiteren Entwicklung unseres Smart Home ist die Steuerung der VELUX Fenster ein wichtiger Bestandteil, dem die KIX 300 sehr gut nachkommt. Die Steuerung lässt sich, nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten, gut und einfach installieren. Leider ist eine Vorabinformation im Internet u.a. bei Youtube nicht gut vorhanden, so dass die ersten Schritte u.a. das Anlernen der KLI 312 Schalter schon einige Zeit in Anspruch nahm. Hier sollte VELUX einen Clip einbringen, welcher die Installation und Programmierung erklärt. Also ein bisschen Zeit bei der Installation mitbringen. Wenn alles eingerichtet ist, funktioniert die Steuerung sehr gut. Auch der Sensor für Temperatur, Luftfeutigkeit und CO² misst aus meiner Sicht sehr gut, da im Vergleich mit Sensoren in anderen Geräten die Werte fast identisch sind.

Excellent service from the sellers (Vale Blind Direct) and good price. However I bought this to replace my Integra control pad which came with the Velux window and was installed in 2016 because it had stopped working.Unfortunately to Install the Active controllers you need to transfer the settings from the old controller to the new system and this I cannot do because the old control pad is not working. Nowhere in any of the information about the installation, either on line or in the support documentation, does it mention this. You only find out that you need the old controller at the last step of the installation process. Apparently the only solution is to buy a standard remote control (they don’t make the Integra control pads anymore), pair that to the window and then pair the replacement remote with the Active Controllers. Why you can’t pair the Active Controllers direct to the window I just don’t understand. I am sure the product is very good, but I won’t know until my new remote control arrives (another £25). Bah humbug.

Been a nightmare from the start, constantly getting error messages and need to refresh before windows come back online, contacted velux and they said they were aware of the problem but 6 months later problem still exists, 6 weeks ago the gateway was "offline", couldn't be bothered to go through the ordeal of deleting everything and starting again as I've had to do it at least 3 times since the start, tried to delete and start again today but there is no white pulsing led on the back, no matter how long you press the button, tried pushing a pin into the little hole to the left of the button, get a flashing green followed by flashing red in the led above the pinhole but still nothing in the led above the button.. Can't find any help online only the instructions which mention nothing after pressing the settings button to get the pulsing white led, my return date long since passed and stuck with something that no longer works...Update..So since all the bother above I contacted seller just before 12 months ran out, they directed me to velux again and after a couple of weeks of them sending me a link to the set up process and me responding by saying that my problem not covered within that they declared the unit faulty and sent a replacement and has been working perfectly ever sinceSo a year on with the replacement and everything works as it should so my problem was with the original gateway so I've decided to upgrade my star rating to 4, have to hold a star back for all the inconvenience caused but they do work well and constantly check air quality and air the room if needed
