AMT 2023 Ford Bronco Outer Banks 1:25 Scale Model Kit

I picked up the AMT 1949 Ford Coupe “The 49’er” 1:25 scale model kit and was pretty happy with it overall. The 1/25 scale is my go-to size, so this one fit right into my collection without any surprises. It’s a comfortable size to work with—detailed enough to be interesting, but not so small that it becomes frustrating. The kit itself goes together nicely and has that classic AMT feel. The parts are molded well, and with a little patience, everything lines up the way it should. It’s a fun build whether you’re experienced or just getting back into modeling. Detail-wise, it captures the look of the ’49 Ford Coupe well. There’s enough here to make it look sharp right out of the box, but also room to add your own custom touches if you want to take it further. For the price, it’s a good value for the money for an AMT model. You get a solid kit that builds into a great-looking classic car without breaking the bank. Overall, if you like 1/25 scale kits and classic cars, this is an easy one to recommend.

Wow, this toy is no joke. This is incredibly well made and boy is it heavy. When I first grabbed the package I had no idea what it was because it was so heavy. This is made from abs plastic and is 1:25 size. It was a blast to put together and is not only a nice model but works well as a toy too.

This kit can make a beautiful model car. But that’s only if you’re ready to put maximum effort into building it, or you’re a master model maker. The fit up on the front and rear pieces is nowhere close to the body contour. It would literally take putty and sculpting to make the front and rear pieces appear to lineup. I’d also like to note that there are very few connection points. The directions simply say to place a part in a certain area with no guidelines no pins or slots or tabs to keep things in place or to locate things. With this model, you are definitely on your own. I had to go online and watch several YouTube videos just to see how I could make this come out the best that I could. Definitely not a model for beginners or people who don’t want to spend a lot of time and effort on trimming sanding And possibly using body molding to make this come out properly. I was still able to make a great looking model, but it was an ordeal. Several other comments have said the same same thing and I agree with with all of them. Lots of flash, lots of bad fit up. And to add to that a large section of plastic needs to be physically removed from the body just so that you can put the trunk lid in that spot. It took me hours to remove that. Just so you know what you’re getting into if you buy this model.

Kit represented 69 Torino and used for a memorable picture with my siblings. Assembly of parts was moderate skill level.

Great details and lots of options make this a must have for any Ford 60s fans out there. Great look when finished and easy to build.
