Fun for food wrap project
This is my first time using pine gum rosin so it is still trial and error. I am using it to make beeswax eco-friendly food wraps. The rosin melts pretty smoothly and combined with the beeswax and olive oil it adheres to the fabric well. I chose olive oil but pretty much any oil can be used. It only takes a small amount of crushed rosin so 2 pounds will go a long way. There are lots of different size chunks in the 2 pound bag and it is virtually odorless. It's a useful and functional project and fun for the family to get them involved, just need to be careful with the hot wax.
