Top line product, Best in brand.
I will post review on this, even though it has not arrived. I have been using TDK's for about 10 years now and I love it. It has far less error rate on burns than the other brands I have used (Sony, Verbatim, Maxell, and generics). I have lost up to 10 discs (per 100 spool) to write errors on other brands. With TDK only about 2 per 100 spool. This is a must if you want to back up dvd's and other media.

Good for older DVD recorders
After having some issues finding blank discs for my two older Panasonic DVD recorders (DMR-E20 models from 2002) , I turned to TDK discs. Other brands of similar DVD-Rs were not recognized by my Panasonic recorders. so i was struggling to find discs that would. These seem to do the trick and have all worked flawlessly so far.

the Disc themselves are ok
They work well just like all the other DVD-R out there, they have the Liquid-Defense which is good but are not glossy like all the other Liquid-Defense media I have had. The plastic packaging was all cracked up with packaging tape on it. So they knew it was busted and sent it to me anyway.

I only purchase TDK, and has little to no issues with any of them. I wouldn't trust lesser brands. Buy these and you won't be sorry.
