I recently got this Smart Watch, and I must say, it looks and feels premium! The full metal body gives it a rugged yet stylish look, perfect for both casual and outdoor use. The 1.43" AMOLED display is bright and sharp, making it easy to read in any lighting.The built-in GPS, compass, altitude, and air pressure sensors make it a great choice for adventure lovers. I ordered this Rugged Smart Watch for men from the Amazon brand HIDAMEL. It's particualrly eye-catching, rugged in its military design, and with lots of built in features with a technical or outdoorsy bent.The Smartwatch requires Bluetooth for connectivity. This means is works as an extentson of your phone but doesn;t have its own SIM card. it can answer calls and ask AI questions, but its doing this through data sharing via bluetooth on your phone. So it will never take the place of the phone, but it does mean you don't have to take it out of your pocket (much).The watch has an AMOLED display that turns off to save power when necessary. It can go for a long time between charges thanks to its 480mAh litium Ion battery - up to 16 days in face. And there are a lot of good USPs about it - the GPS is a great and non-standard feature, possible due to its connection with 6 satellite positioning systems. It is particularly rugged, and indeed also waterproof - rated IP69 for water ingress, with a 5ATM rating for water pressure - that's good for a depth of 50 feet and there is a specific swimming setting. it can also measure altitude, air pressure, direction, and more.All of these features are interesting and the health-focussed features are manyfold, although with out a SIM card, the connectivity is somewhat limited. What the large battery and great functionality do do, for the wearers usable experience, is make the the watch a little on the heavy side just to wear; although the strap can be adusted for smaller wrists, the weight and size of the face cannot, so it's a quite a commitment to be walking around with this behemoth on your wrist.Finally like many smart watches it requirs you to download an app from the Apple Store of Google Play, the privacy policies of this app isn't known, but its a good idea to check out what info it collects, stores and shares before uploading personal info, including health info.Four stars

It is a nice smart watch with amazing battery life. Very easy to use and connect just need to download the app. It comes with two straps rubber and steel with a tool kit to change the strap.

When this arrived they were not kidding why they named it the Tank!Accessory wise it came with everything you need and I like it has a proper charging base as some other budget smart watches just have a small charge connector and it not always easy for it to stay connected with the magnets.It comes with 3 displays as default and more can be downloaded and the image quality is much better than I expected and I didn't notice it was a AMOLED panel until it arrived.It has an awful lot of sports modes which I could personally take or leave but it has more than enough other functionality for the average folk at the £30 price point.Mic quality and speaker quality is better than I expected and useful if you can't physically get to your phone and it has some water resistance so if you are caught in a rain shower then it should be fine.Overall it's a pretty good watch, plenty of measurement data and another thing I noticed it can be picky with how it picks up your blood pressure which is not an issue for me anyway.

The app is easy to navigate. The strap adjusts to suit a small wrist but the watch itself is very chunky and thick. It is a little laggy moving between different screens and functions. The step count, blood pressure measurements etc were in the range of what I would expect so are probably fairly accurate. The listing gives the impression this can be used as a diving watch - there is a photo of a scuba diver wearing it - but scuba diving is not one of the sports included and the watch does not record the very specific metrics required for scuba diving. This is disappointing as it was one of the reasons I ordered it.If you are looking for a basic but rugged watch to record everyday health parameters and stats when exercising as well as giving the usual smart watch functions of being able to read messages, set alarms etc this seems a reasonable choice for the current price of £29.99. One star off for not including diving when the listing gives the impression it does and one off for the latency in operation.
