We finally made the switch—and we’re never going back. The difference is night and day. My wife and I were honestly shocked to realize we’d been overcooking chicken and salmon all this time. This thermometer made the transition super easy. It’s solidly built, feels durable in the hand, and while I haven’t dropped it yet, I’m not too worried if I do—it seems tough enough to handle it. The speed and accuracy are both great. It’s not truly a 1-second read as advertised—more like 3 seconds—but that’s still fast and way better than waiting 5–10 seconds. That speed really matters when you’re checking multiple spots on a large cut of meat or trying to test several smaller items quickly in a hot oven. Even with gloves on, you want to get in and out as fast as possible, and this thermometer makes that a lot easier.
