Best phone I've had in years.
I had been looking around for a phone that actually fit in one hand, AND which didn't require a case to prevent it from cracking at the slightest provocation which naturally led me down the "rugged phone" rabbit hole. This one stuck out amongst it's peers as being one of the few rugged phones which was 5G compatible. I can honestly say I'm very happy with it. As others have noted the battery life is exceptional, I tend to average 3 days of heavy use (i.e. bluetooth radio on streaming music most of the day), or 5-6 days light use (i.e. just using it as a phone). The rugged claim is not to be sniffed at either; I can personally vouch for having dropped this phone multiple times on a concrete floor (deliberately, I'm not that clumsy) from about a meter height without any damage. I've also seen reviews where people are chucking it about in the peak district. There's a bunch of cool features too like the camping light, reverse wired/wirelss charging etc. I went for the thermal camera version as it was very little difference in price. I work with thermal imaging fairly regularly so feel somewhat qualified to assess it, and yeah it's a neat toy. The sensor seems to be a legit FLIR one so nothing to sniff at, and compared to a more sophisticated instrument it's not bad. You aren't able to adjust permittivity or emissivity (it has a hot mode though) nor can you adjust focal depth manually, but realistically you would only be using this for a qualitative check anyway. Is it hot? Yes. Where? There. It does all the things that IR imaging is actually good for, namely giving a good idea of the heat distribution while only giving an approximation of true temperature. If you use IR imaging regularly, having an okay thermal camera always to hand will be useful. If you don't; it's still a neat toy! Only negatives I could mention would be the lack of suitable car mounts. I found their (Ulefone) larger one fits okay, but has a tendancy to press and hold the lock button causing a reset if you're not careful. The size for some may be an issue, it was a little adjustment to get used to a smaller touch screen. If you have larger digits maybe a small phone is not for you, they do do a more conventionally sized varient. The weight is also something many seem to have remarked on. Yes, it is heavier than you might expect and can initially feel odd when holding to your ear to make calls. I got used to this fairly quickly, so mileage may vary. As an unintended consequence, since its also built like a tank and comes with a lanyard strap; this would probably make for a pretty decent self-defence weapon!

Bomb proof 5g
Bit like a mini house brick! 2 day battery life , looks bomb proof. Has some pretty cool features like TV remote, camping light, drop proof water/dust resistant . All depends what you need from your phone , big thin screen then this definatley isn't for you. Want something thatl survive the next apocalypse ? This probably will !!

Ulefone armor mini 20 is really excellent phone
No dislikes at all it is what they say. Size of screen a d phone is just what I wanted. Camera is as I expected with some great features. Price bracket is great for a phone with so many really good features. Battery is lasting well with heavy use before needing a charge.

Not a usable phone.
Whilst it is a very solid and rugged phone with excellent battery life it achieves that long life by very aggressive battery management. Background apps are just shutdown, this results in the phone not checking emails, WhatsApps and all manner of notifications. This battery management can't be turned off. It might be rugged and have a usable thermal camera by it just doesn't work as a phone.

Great for the money - updated after 6 months
Call quality 10/10 Speaker 6/10 -could be louder but not an issue operating sytem 10/10 rugged case 10/10 Ease of use 10/10 Fingerprint scanner - 0/10 completely non functioning (doesn't bother me, the facial ID scanner works spot on and theres always passcode unlocking) size and weight 10/10 (for a rugged phone with a big battery) camera 10/10 for the price range, clear shots but takes a tiny bit longer to focus For £125 It really is a great phone based on 3 weeks of use. After 6 months of use the phone has been great. I drove over the phone accidentally with my car and it's still completely fine!

Very good phone
This phone is a good size and shape so I can hold it without overstretching my fingers. It's heavier than my previous phone but, because I also bought a lanyard-style phone case, it's actually easier to access. The display screen is smaller than the screen on my previous screen but it's big enough to show everything that I need to see. It's designed to be strong so I was concerned that it might be less sensitive to touch but the touchscreen works perfectly. Extras include a nice, bright torch/flashlight, a good camera, and controls for some televisions.

Not Recommended for Elderly with fat fingers
Excited when I got the phone until I start using it. Everything is small even after maxed the font. Lags every now and then, keep shutting down certain apps. Finger print/facial doesn't work for certain apps. Most concerning it gets really hot while using. The cameras are excellent, night vision and infra red perfect for out door and construction/DIY can trace pipes in the wall. That's the best feature. Battery life almost 2 days. That's based on normal usage, without watching YouTube, Tiktok and the lot. Probably got a faulty phone which heats up when using. Returning the phone for a bigger phone. The refund process is 14 days upon received and 7 days for payment to be paid into the account that's 21 days before I can buy a bigger phone.

Worth the purchase price?
A great rugged small form factor phone. Sits in your palm perfectly. Good performance good storage and the thermal camera is a must. I rate this phone very highly. Expensive? Not really, you certainly get what you pay for.

It's a very solid brick of a phone. It's thick and heavy. But it's built for a tough life, and being in the tropics where it rains most afternoons, it's ideal for my purposes
