A Must-Have for Effortless Pool Maintenance!
I recently purchased the Poolmaster 28316 Swimming Pool Leaf Vacuum from the Premier Collection, and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance! This vacuum has made cleaning my pool a breeze. With its sturdy design and powerful suction, it effortlessly glides across the bottom, picking up leaves and debris in no time. The ease of use is a standout feature; simply connect it to your pool's garden hose, and you’re ready to go! The large collection bag holds a significant amount of debris, reducing the need for constant emptying. I've also noticed that it manages to reach corners and tight spaces that other vacuums struggle with.Plus, its lightweight construction makes it easy to maneuver, which is a bonus for someone like me who isn't particularly strong! Overall, the Poolmaster 28316 is an excellent tool for keeping your pool clean and inviting. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient leaf vacuum!

I am the leaf sucking queen!
I have 6 huge oak trees that drop gazillions of leaves several times a year and my pool gets totally filled with leaves. I have been raking the leaves with a regular pool rake/net - which is backbreaking work and takes hours to get all the leaves out. It is almost impossible to keep up. I just don't have the time to do this anymore and can't stand my pool being gross, so I got on the Google machine to seek a solution. That is when I found the Poolmaster 28316 Leaf Vacuum. In the shopping cart it went and 2 days later it arrived. All I can say is OMG!! Within 5 minutes after the delivery, I became the leaf sucking queen! The Poolmaster leaf vacuum is VERY easy to use - I attached the fine mesh bag to the top and connected my hose and telescoping pole - I sank the Poolmaster to the bottom, turned on the hose and in one pass, all the leaves I went over were in the bag - clean and clear pool bottom! Wow! Even with all my endless toil in raking, it was never that clean. With 8 high pressure jets creating super suction power, I removed every leaf, seed pod and other debris in my standard sized pool in about 45 minutes - which for my situation of having probably 2 weeks worth of leaves in my pool, was a world record. And, it didn't break my back because of the 4 multi directional swivel wheels on the bottom, which help the Poolmaster to move easily around the bottom. I emptied the mesh bag several times (which is a little awkward to do at first, but you figure it out pretty fast), but it was so much easier than having to clean out the skimmer, filter and pool pump basket every 5 minutes. Now I am using the Poolmaster leaf vacuum every other day for about 5-10 minutes (if that) and my leaves are totally under control. This leaf vacuum is very well made with thick plastic and an aluminum metal handle for the pole attachment. It also has a mar proof rubber bumper and replaceable brushes underneath. I am very happy with my purchase and strongly recommend anyone who has a leaf problem in their pool to get this leaf vacuum!Poolmaster 28316 Leaf Vacuum - Premier Collection

Worked. Still took more time than I'd hoped
My pool filter froze & I had to wait on a replacement. In the meantime, the pool bottom got covered with leaves on top of leaves. I bought this product to help remove those leaves. It DOES work & I'm glad I got it, tho' it's not without its own limitations:Once I had the new filter, I turned on my Dolphin robot to deal with the leaves But I quickly found I was having to pull my Dolphin out of the water to empty the filter basket after just a couple of minutes. A real PITA!It looked like the overall bag capacity of this Poolmaster was at least 4x that of the Dolphin's filter basket, so that's why I bought it.But, it seemed impossible to actually fill the Poolmaster's bag beyond ~1/4 full because the weight of the leaves causes the bag to fold over & not only drag on the pool bottom, but also prevent any more leaves from getting into that bag.So I tied a piece of kite string to the top of the bag, then tied the other end above the slip joint on the pole, thinking that "holding the bag up" would let it hold more leaves. That idea was generally correct, but because that held the bag vertically above the opening, the weight of leaves in the bag still kept the bag from getting more than ~1/2 full.So the job still required more bag emptying than I'd hoped. Once I got enough leaves out with the Poolmaster that there really weren't any more "piles" of leaves, I returned to the Dolphin & it did a super job of picking up the remainder.FWIW, I did call Poolmaster before trying this & they recommended against it because the bag isn't designed to take that much weight. So be aware of that in advance if you want to try what I did. (My bag's still OK, tho'.)
