This has been amazing moving building materials. You do need to fill the whole base as it will tilt to close but this is easily rectified by adding blocks of wood to hold open. Very robust

Why did you choose this product over others?: This is an interesting piece of equipment. I bought it to carry heavy boards along pavements. At first sight this item is a bit confusing. Its default position is with the 'jaws' firmly closed and the wheels splayed awkwardly at a very strange angle to the sides. It does NOT sit on the ground like a small trolley ie open and upright. The idea is that the jaws grip the board, door, whatever you want to carry, and depending on the width of said 'door' the wheels will maintain a semi upright position (but still splayed oddly). The most difficult part is placing the heavy panel, door etc on the trolley at the mid point whilst opening the 'jaws' to accept said item when it is on the move! It is extremely robustly built BUT it is certainly not EASY to use. I may add a video at a later date as words will not adequately explain this..
