The jog wheel are not working

I was afraid because it looks plasticy compared to the DDJ we are used to in the last decades but finally it's quite sturdy. I'm not a 100% sure how it would hold up for someone with hands so strong they can barely contain their own strength, but for the common mortal hands that take good cares of their things, this will last. Feature set is great, the groove circuit sounds like a gimmick but don't let the influencers fool you, they clearly don't know about good sound selection when producing a track because it's very easy to find or create your own drum loops that'll fit precise tracks and obviously not every drums will fit every track, if making music was this easy, we would all be musical genious by now. It's quite confusing how to set it up because no one tells you, but we need to load up the drums or samples (can be voices, synth lines, etc) ourselves in the appropriate place in RekordBox via drag and drop and from there the groove circuit is available. Jog wheels are nice, I really missed having big jog wheels. They're kind of in the betweem being stiff and too loose so they feel good, they have a nice "grip strength" to them. Would be better if these were motorized with an adjustable jog strength but it will feel like the cdj 3000s in a club where everyone just set it to medium for a collab middle ground so its good. There is a screen in the jog wheel, it's there and that's how they show that red needle movement. Sadly, no one yet did anything with it, including pioneer. I don't know how much does it cover but the darkness is similar in the whole circle so it looks like the needle is purposely being shown on the exterior of it while the center purposely don't show antything even though it looks like it could. Hopefully someone figure out how to activate it someday but afaik, its not done yet. The play and cue button feels decent, so does the mixer and every other controls, nothing feels flimsy. I was afraid of the shorter pitch fader but I can still precise fine tune my bpm/pitch so eh, it works. It's a strange decision because the jog wheels could have been moved a little to accomodate the longer pitch fader, but they decided not to. Performance buttons being on top I feel is good, it reminds of these live setup gigs on CDJs, the transition from home to a gig is easier imo but depending on where you live or where you play, it might not be. At the price of RCA inputs connectors, they could have added the 4 rca inputs for extra decks, or at least for deck 3 and 4, but they didn't. I'm sure lo It unlocks both RekordBox and Serato Dj Pro with pitch and time. So no need to pay a subscription or a dj software right away to get started. VirtualDJ is supported but you need to buy the license which also unlocks it for every other controllers so it's nice. Traktor, I have yet to test it but someone began the mapping so with basic midi mapping skills and some patience, you can make it work. Registration is easy, simply scan the QR code, login to the pioneer account and then complete the 2-3 fields and its done, easy peasy. The included usb-c cable is very short, but good 100w usb-c to usb-c of 2m/6ft for both data and charging are dirt cheap so eh, just order one from ugreen or something while getting this, an extra 8 to 10$ on that amount isn't bad and you can use that same cable for other things anyway so eh.

Works just as described, and I think the features included with it are excellent. The sound quality is amazing from the sound card. My only gripe would be how large it is, it’s not very portable when compared to the flx4 but overall very easy to learn and great for the price point.
