so much better
These are great! After trying all those dusk to dawn sensors that screw into the socket and then you screw the bulb into, this is the way to go. This bulb works without adding length to your bulb like the screw in sensors do. So there is no problem with your globe or housing no longer fitting. The sensor in these bulbs works correctly, even if you have a hood on the light or deep socket; I think that the sensor in these is lower in the bulb and not up high like on the screw in sensors. Those end up shaded by hoods or deep sockets and the light stays on. Also, it operates correctly and does not turn on during cloudy days or when in the shade. I use mine on covered porches and they operate perfectly. These bulbs are the perfect solution and I am very happy with them. the only reason for the 4 stars is that they are not quite 100w equivalent when I compare them to my regular 100W equivalent LEDs. Plenty bright for a porch light but more like 75W

Perfect lighting
I have always used the adapters on the light bulbs for my garage lighting to turn on and off (solar). One of them finally went out after several years and I was planning on purchasing new adapters of the same kind when I came across the new light bulbs that do not need adapters. I am always behind the times. I love these. So happy I found this item. Great even lighting on my garage wall now. Will purchase again.

Nice product that WORKS....and great customer service
I used 1 of the 2 bulbs for my over-the-garage outdoor light. Worked perfectly and comes one at dusk as desired. I put the second bulb in my front door fixture in a enclosed 'cave' with light stucco finish. Street light shines pretty brightly. The bulb came on once and never again. I removed it and tested it in a drop light (covered with a blanket) and it did turn on and off so.....not sure. The seller sent me a replacement immediately since it not clear if it was a defective bulb. Will test and update the review but the Customer Service was outstanding. So was the speed of the replacement order. I just hope they last as LED's normally do. I don't like climbing that ladder often!!!!

Great product! Easily makes your standard outdoor fixture a dusk to dawn light without an expensive rewire or fixture replacement.The dusk to dawn photocell is already inside the bulb. I bought the 9 watt LED (60 watt incandescent equivalent) dusk to dawn two pack but it is also available as a motion sensing/dusk to dawn (75 watt incandescent equivalent). Not automatic, no motion sensing
These lights do not work the way I expected. They do go on at dusk and off at dawn, but they stay on at night and are motion sensing at all. There are no instructions so who knows whether I am doing something wrong or the product is faulty. They are very bright, have no idea about energy efficiency. Can’t see how they would be since they don’t shut off automatically. Probably going to send them back. Very disappointing.

Nice Lights Reasonably Priced
A little bit of an updated review. I have dropped the stars down from five to three. I ordered these July 24, 2018 and today in unison both of them burn out. I like them but they were supposed to last 5 years. I didn’t even get a year and a half. Still having lights that turn on and off automatically is better than not having them. So I ordered two more. If I get another 17 months out of the new ones, I’m okay with it. Now had I got at least 4 years I would have kept the 5 star rating. I will be looking very closely at the warranty when the new ones arrive:These work as advertised. The light output is acceptable for outdoor porch lights. They are very good at detecting external light and shutting off. I have them in an enclosed fixture above my garage. They will also shut off if a car pulls into the driveway at night with the headlights on. Consequently there is no problem at all with wasted power. Once the sun comes up, they shut off instantly.

Good idea, poor build
I had one installed in a enclosed sunroom, the other in a bedroom. The light is fairly dull.The one in the sunroom started to turn on with a delay and / or significant flickering after about 2 months of working. It also developed certain spotting on the plastic cover (on the inside as far as I can tell). See images.I give it 3 stars for the 50/50 performance.I tried to find the manufacturer. The only thing I found is that Wixann was registered as a trademark by XIAMEN HUI XIAN YING TECHNOLOGIES CO.,LTD.

Great product
For a while we've been wanted dusk to dawn lights. After having a pro install new fixtures around the perimeter of our house and extensive testing , we've concluded that this is the perfect way to control your exterior lighting! Eliminates mistakes such as forgetting to turn lights on/off and Saves money that would usually be wasted when you forget to turn lights off during the day. Who doesn't like to save money?Just replace your current bulbs with these and leave the switch on. Lights come on at dusk, shut off at dawn.
