A brilliant review of anti-female views, concocted by males to degrade the female of the species. The book shocks and should have.All - both males and females should read and think about. As a male it, indirectly illustrates males feeling of inferiority.

Brilliant Book!
A brilliant book especially for women. Even though hellish patriarchy is here to stay alas, reading Merlin Stone, Elizabeth Gould Davis, Mary Daly, Barbara Mor & Monica Sjoo, and then Virginia Woolf, as well as other works on matriarchy will help women enormously to quickly regain their natural woman-balance within woman-hostile & woman-denigrating brutal patriarchy.Reading these authors also will liberate men.

This is a very indepth book,intelligently written, telling the history of how the worship of Goddesses was suppressed and cast into the shadows,along with woman's right's.It contains some beautiful photos of old statues.Be warned though,if you have even a pinch of feminism within you there's parts that will make you angry.A good read to shed light on why things are the way they are for today's women.

What an impressive piece of research
This is a riveting and must read work for anyone wanting to understand real history and not revised history. A lot is revealed here that helps one to click certain aspects of the past into place.

Brilliant.
Anything to empower women is fine by me. This book breaks down what the god of the bible was so jealous about, what with all the destruction he so enjoyed.
