I didn't know exactly what to expect with these. My entire family tried them, and we were pretty amazed. They recommend 1/2 a tablet for kids, and my 5 y.o son was pretty amused trying them. They foam up much more than expected and have a fizzy, lightly minty taste. The instructions on the side say to put in your mouth and then brush with a toothbrush before rinsing and spitting out...which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me because if I am going to use my toothbrush, then I am just going to use toothpaste and get the job done correctly. However, just putting them in our mouths, swishing for a few, spitting out and then rinsing with water left a nice, refreshing taste in our mouths. The flavor was not super long lasting, but these get the job done in a pinch when needing to refresh without having access to toothbrush and toothpaste. These made my mouth feel cleaner, but my husband didn't think it really had any impact for him. Kids and adults are definitely fascinated by them and it really is convenient for traveling, camping, etc.

These are....... ok. Taste is fine, like a mint toothpaste. This just doesn't feel like toothpaste. Rather, it feels like foaming/bubbling baking soda. (Imagine like when you pour vinegar onto baking soda and it becomes almost fizzy)I appreciate that it is made with xylitol! And, honestly, my teeth feel very clean after (but, that could be because I did brush them. lol).Ummm, I don't HATE this. But I don't love it like I wanted to. I'll use them, but I don't think I'd order them again.

Ingredients are CLEAN and I read and looked up everything that makes up these tablets, it is very good and less chemistry involved than your store-bought toothpaste, which is pretty toxic in comparison to these tablets.If you're looking for a mess-free, portable oral care option, especially for travel, these toothpaste tablets are worth it. Just keep in mind that the taste may take some getting used to, especially if you're accustomed to stronger minty flavors.

The tablets come in a nice glass jar, and they definitely smell like mint.The directions state to chew up a tablet and then brush your teeth with a wet toothbrush. The biggest surprise is how much these tables recreate the traditional toothbrushing experience. They foam up when you chew them! They are minty, and in a good way. They're not too "spicy."If you get these, make sure you try them before your trip. They are… unusual. I'm not sure they're for me. I do appreciate how easy they would be to travel with and how environmentally conscious they are with their packaging. No tubes to throw away.NOTE: These do not include fluoride, so make sure that's right for you!

I was excited to try these toothpaste tablets, but I discovered the main ingredient is xylitol, and xylitol is supposed to taste sweet, but instead these taste sour. 2/5 cannot recommend. Also, xylitol is dangerous for pets so do not keep them in easily accessible areas.

I’m conflicted whether to give these toothpaste tablets 4 or 5 stars. The ingredients are safe and effective. The tablets are convenient, and they are easy to carry in a small pill box when travelling. They do foam up a lot in my mouth when I start brushing. After brushing, my teeth and mouth feel thoroughly clean. I like that the tablets come in a glass jar, and there is no plastic. My reason for wanting to drop a star is the strange sour-mint taste. I’ve decided to give 5 stars because everything else about the tablets is good, but I’m not a fan of the flavor. The jar arrived with a safety seal, and the expiration date is more than two years from now.
