My mom likes them, and her walk-in closet smells like lavender now (not in an overpowering way). They look so nice that she hung them on the wall like artwork. When the smell starts to fade, rub off a layer of wax. I have some in my house too, but I have to find “Goldilocks zones” - not too big, not too small. They don’t work as well in larger spaces, of course, and are too strong-smelling for my tiny hall closet.
